It's puzzles aren't exactly hard, and there's pretty much two different types.

It's also brilliant, pretty, moving.

I really really like it.

What is it?

It's a game by the same people who made Journey but you're in the sea.

Quite fancy it as something to play with my Octonauts-obsessed two year old daughter. We've pretty much done Hohokum.

I loved Journey! How come I haven't heard of this at all until now? It appears to be 20% off on Steam right now.

Octonauts is amazing. You can kind of tell that Captain Barnacles is very handsome, though he is a CGI polar bear made of circles. Also, I know loads of random stuff about Giant Siphonophores and how to spell humuhumunukunukuapua'a because of Octonauts. I'm pretty sure Darwin wants a Captain Barnacles cake for his birthday in a few weeks.

I like it too. I had a big argument with Josie yesterday over what it says at the start. She was insistent that it's Explore! Rescue! Kontak! I told her that there is no such word as kontak and that it's Protect!. So to settle it we watched the start of one and she went "see konTAK". Shut me up. We also all have Octonaut names, she's Kwazii, I'm Peso and her mum is Barnacles. Cars are the Gup-E and Gup-B.

Messy Goes To Okido is excellent too if you've not already seen that.

I think I'm a Shellington. Darwin is probably Tunip. Russell... I think he's our Captain Barnacles. I have definitely seen Messy Goes to Okido, though I think only one episode. I was confused when it wasn't about an online grocery store.

Also Dinopaws, though Russell just complains about Gwen when we watch it do we have to watch it when he is at work.

If you ever get a chance, have a watch of the American version of Ocotonauts. It has a song at the end of every episode, and Peso is Spanish.

Not tried 2 and 5 so will investigate.

Sanjay and Craig is also good, though I was initially resistant to it for so slavishly sticking to the Boy and Anthropomorphic Buddy template of Adventure Time. However it's more puerile than AT (and less charming), so distinguishes itself on that basis. Does have an extremely memorable episode in the form of Muscle Cops, which is both disgusting and brilliant.

STAKT. The short-lived sitcom featuring Pamela Anderson's ditzy librarian trying to admin a kids' tv forum with CUS, with HILARIOUS consequences

Our faves are:

Sarah & Duck (so much love for this. It is our family's happy show. I think it was written about us).

Octonauts. Educational, cute, full of in-jokes.

Dinopaws.

Andy's Prehistoric Adventures. Andy is amazing, and he looks like Fatima Whitbread.

Clangers. I didn't think it could live up to old Clangers, but it totally does. It's all stop motion and lovely. So charming.

I'm pretty much in total agreement here.

"The Puppy" episode of Gumball was fucking hilarious.

Does anybody remember a Tiny Ribinsin show from the 80s (maybe early 90s) called Blood And Honey. He'd narrate bible stories, telling the takes really vividly whilst acting bits out. I think it was just him.

If I remember rightly, Tony Robinson used to narrate tales from Fatulips garden. That was a favourite of mine.

Yes, though there are more than 4 really and they fight all sorts of things. It's cool in that each season has a different theme of what they are fighting, and the title sequence changes accordingly (ghosts, robots, snakes, etc).
