Since returning I've been reading through a few old threads. The Fallout 3 one was epic. Doing that though has made me realise that a lot of people who used to post here now don't. Or, they still visit but don't post. Gilly, Kalmar, Dimrill.. Loads basically.

Was there a big ding dong or have they just gone on to other things?

People drift in, drift out, come, go, join, leave, have periods where they post every day and breaks where they don't. Like yourself.

Gilly still posts here.

Don't listen to her JC, we actually had a massive tournament in Wolverhampton. It was like the Hunger Games where we were drawn at random in a fight to the death with our fellow forummers.

Who you see posting now are basically the stealthiest, strongest, cruellest forum members that survived. It was brutal.

I'll never forget Throughsilvers face as he caught an arrow in the knee.

Some stopped being excellent to each other, which led to others not being excellent to each other, and so on.

There was a particularly nasty phase a couple of years ago, people even took to Twitter, that's how serious it got.

Certainly of those who left, a couple of them I really don't miss at all, and indeed find BEEX a far more pleasant place to be now they're gone.

I'd grown enormously fond of a good few members of this forum. Kalmar was awesome, Gill was one of the nicest people I've ever met as well as a few others. It's not ridiculous to care and wonder where they are.

I've received a couple of links via pm now and can see why those people left. I'm quite glad that a few of them no longer post here tbh. Especially the one who was attacking every word I said, even after I explained that I really wasn't well. Especially when he suffers from one of my afflictions. So much for tolerance of the mentally challenged. I will never, ever forget that.

I think most on this forum are 'decent' people.

After 18 years on the net and various forums, I can tell pretty quickly who aren't. It is blatantly obvious who they are too.
