Er, Bin roleclaim?!?!

Please feel free to confirm, anyone who has hidden in said bin.

Also, just because you're the bin doesn't make you town. probably means you can't kill though, so...

On to the Bobby thing... I'm happy for him to investigate me, BUT: I know he's turned up suss results before, AND we've had team switching according to Gaz, AND - no one else seems to care that he managed to avoid a lynching even though the rules say no one can.

?

If it was outside of the rules, it wouldn't have happened, it negates nothing else I have said, so stop obfuscating and post.

If TFF gets up to eight posts today I'll be amazed, seems fairly clear that anyone on the Town's side would have immediately posted up to 8 to prove their innocence.

Yeah, I ended up in the bin with Grim...

Although I didn't ask to be. I don't know how I ended up in there. I targetted Zaphod last night. It's easy enough for me to prove who I am if needed, although it doesn't get you much I'm afraid.

(Also: I would've voted grim..., but Bobby left his roleclaim until after I'd gone to the pub for the night. Daft Bobby.)

Well, apparently three of us targeted Zaphod last night, then.

Perhaps his random defense power can only work once per night, you were the first person to target him so you ended up in the bin, and the killer was able to bump him off unimpeded?

Heh, yeah, actually looking at his role I should be quite glad that all I ended up with was a friendly night in the bin.

Because if you do so deliberately you get complaints such as

Quote:
Or why not just post eight posts like a normal person?

Despite, you know, knowing you're not going to be around to post 8 times.

You know, apart from the fact that "put you in the bin" ISN'T a night action. So he couldn't have chosen it. So you're talking utter rubbish.

I am FOSing you BIG time.

(and no, I'm not posting again until I get some sort of an explanation for your utter bullshit, and potentially Gaz's for making up the crap excuse in the first place - how convenient to say that you knew he was Mafia after it had already been disclosed... you too are SO SCUMMY).

That prove who you are really easily? Go for it.

So we're voting for Grim..., but waiting until TFF posts enough times so that Bobby can investigate her first? Righty ho. :)

Come on TFF, we haven't got all night.

Tell you what, since it's blatantly obvious that TFF is scummy, why don't you, GJ, post 8 times? You've been insanely quiet and never managed 8 posts in 3 days.

You've got to be whatever that thing is that rips a man in half.

Yeah, I don't think I'm going to do it for your sake.

Also:"If targeted take a list of all the night actions available in the current game and have a random action occur against the person who targeted them" is what happened to me last night. So hardly utter rubbish.

Very tempted to vote TFF today instead now, if she won't post again. Grim… will wait until tomorrow.

Hardly. The first day was to encourage a certain potentially readable set of behaviours and hope to be able to read them - that is how I tend to play these things after all - the second because, as stated, I wouldn't be able to get up to 8 naturally, and I think it's a good thing to be readily readable, and for people to know I'm not afraid of being investigated. Although Gaz is clearly the best person to be investigated by, Mr Dave isn't a bad second.

I do think it's rather strange that zaphod put in that vote less than a minute before the night timed out. Something you might not do unless you knew/suspected there was a reason to bring Bobby up to the same level as Grim... - 1. Given his general role, and the distance from a usual successful lynch. Strange or interesting...

I certainly don't think it would be sensible to let him get near a majority on someone.

Ok, the slightly simplified world as seen by Mr Dave (Not Mr Dave)

Bobbyaro - Town
Future Warrior - Town
GazChap - Town
Goddess Jasmine
Grim...
Mr Dave - Town
Saturnalian
TheFireFaeri

Which makes it rather easy, all things told. 4 people I don't know, 4 bad/neutral roles out there.

EXCEPT maybe Gaz got converted on day 1
BUT he wouldn't have amended the numbers were this the case. Gaz is safe.

FW could've been converted. Although it would be bad luck to have that happen after two people investigated him.

Bobby I also trust, his behaviour has been consistently town.

So, we have a king maker, at least while Grim... is in the game. Mr King maker, I presume you can't win while there are still mafia. It becomes somewhat required to only vote for him otherwise you + 3 mafia = 5 vote majority.

Ergo. Don't fricking vote for anyone, you muppet.

And given we require more than just the town to lynch anyone. I see no possible course of action bar [vote: Grim...]

Not like it's going to be an easy target to reach.

Good summary, Mr Not Mr Dave. If Grim... was a good guy, we'd have already lost as soon as we started voting for him. The Mafia would have piled on as soon as FW and I stuck our votes in.

Am I allowed to [Vote:Grim...] now? TFF won't be back, obviously. Her lack of an eighth post is damning.

TFF tomorrow, then it's a crapshoot between Sat and Jazzy Jeff (minus the Fresh Prince).

I've actually made a point of making sure I post more than eight times a day each day, so would you like to explain why you are saying that. Also, insanely quiet? Didn't we have this conversation on day 1?

I will be very happy to post at least eight times again today, in the course of normal discussion. Are you going to post again so you can be checked too?

Ah, is that why you are pushing for me to be checked? That way the investigate is wasted on me and can't be used on you?

Yeah, if she doesn't, I'm voting right back for Grim...

For me to even consider changing that, she needs to give a specific answer that would lead to the possibility of a rather audacious, fairly unlikely set of circumstances.

I'd rather put my mind at rest.

Until 'Mr Dave' has said he has checked someone at least. I notice that that is the tactic that Zaphod used yesterday.

Now, y'see, a contribution tends to add some information to the discussion. Hilariously out of your 9 posts today you've managed to ask 11 questions; giving nowt away.

I'm not sure what you think is wrong with asking questions and promoting discussion Also, I have made 12 posts today, this is my 13th.

'Who are the quiet ones?' was copy and pasted from the counter.

Why have you only picked the questions out of my posts? Do you not what people to be reminded that I pulled you up on your distraction technique?

Two more questions!!!

Thanks Sat, reading back over that you have shown all of the questions that I have asked you and you have not responded to. :)

Thoughts;

We know Grim... is bad.
I think that TFF has shown herself up by her behaviour these last two days. I'm not convinced she will post again.
Maybe 'Mr Dave' could investigate Sat, then we would have the trifecta. We could lynch him tonight (once confirmed), get Grim... tomorrow and hope the SK helps us out tonight.

I think I might have missed something though, Zaphod was a defender, so why was there no mafia kill last night?

BTW, I'm happy to be investigated to be a confirmed townie, I just don't want the investigate to go to waste when we could confirm a mafia. I'm sure that 'Mr Dave' will do what he thinks is best though. We get valuable info either way.

No. If you think Grim... is bad, that's the route to go, lynch the guy with 2 votes. 2 kills overnight move the town out of a winnable position if he's bad.

I'm still waiting on a TFF reply.

Well, unless you hit the kill role.

To be honest, I didn't think you'd post 8 times but if you did I was thinking that you might try and not be investigated but I never thought you'd do it like this: grovelling, blatant and disingenuously, like a snivling scummy toad. Well done. That's quite something.

Is this something that you have to do? (Vote, not necessarily for me).

I do have to. Can't change my mind either.
