You wake, most of you.

That was... effervescent

The monitor shows another room.
Shown is Grim..., he is standing in a room with 16 buttons on one wall and 1 button labelled "intercom" on another wall.
He looks up, you see a gas entering the room. He collapses.
The screen goes black, followed by three messages.

Code:
Player 8
Town
Alignment

Continue.

Oh, wait a bit. It appears I forgot to open the air vent on TheVision's room a couple of days ago. I wondered why he hadn't pressed his intercom button yesterday, or pressed any other buttons last night.

Code:
Player 1
Town
Nothing

Let's hope I don't forget to open anyone's air vent in future...

One person, at least.

Maybe only one, and a very curious choice...

We lost one person, no big loss.

Id say a fair amount was gained too, its just hard to decide which particular parts are important.

You are sounding more and more dodgy Dave.

I'm increasingly convinced you, sdg and perhap saturnalian are up to something.

I was going to continue where we left off yesterday and vote for Mr Dave, but as Saturnalian is on my dodgy list, and Russ has started with him. I'll join in. [vote:saturnalian]

Depends on a few factors.

Ill leave you a question though. Why target Grim... when there are supposedly two roleblockers out and Grim...s role had been rather publicly neutered.

1) The killer doesn't know who they are killing and chose at random
2) The killer does know who they are killing and decided Grim... was on to something so he was silenced
3) The killer does know who they are killing and decided it looked like Grim.. was on to something so he was silenced in order to frame someone
4) The killer does know who they are killing and decided that it wasn't worth the risk of the list getting into Grim...'s hands no matter how small
5) The killer does know who they are killing but chose at random to confuse people
6) The killer does know who they are killing but doesn't really know what to do for the best

Also, stop voting for me, thanks in advance.

I'd cordially suggest either Nic or Mr Russ has to go. They're clearly opposing factions I just don't know which is the baddie.

Well I don't know what to do now. I'm going to back and read yesterday and the day before but currently I think I would vote for Kovacs.
I think the attempt at not killing made total sense for a survive win condition and I suspected we all did. Kovacs didn't get this at all. If he had been in a team they would surely have explained it to him so maybe he's a lone killer? He seemed to be mocking the idea people wouldn't press buttons, perhaps because he was?

Actually, having a quick skim of yesterday page one again maybe we should vote for nick or russ. They look to be against each other so if we vote one and its wrong we can vote for the other.

You are sounding more and more dodgy Dave.

I'm not on your team, so that's somewhat unsurprising.

However, if you've somehow come to the conclusion I'm a villian, then you're somewhat daft, to put it mildly.

Blending into the background would be order of the day in that case. And not, for instance, pacifism in the face on unknown rules.

This makes sense. Russ seemed to be the aggressor against Nic IIRC so I'd say was more Suss.

Oh I got it completely, I just was saying, that you can ask for nothing to be done. Unfortunately as I said, folks ignored you and Mr Dave.

I am not a killer, just think we have wasted a day or two

As before, I don't count them as wasted, we have quite a bit of stuff to go on in terms of interactions, and at a very low cost.

Certainly, I think there are some people who rather stand out on one side or another at a cost of one death. (I don't count things we never had, so I only count one death)

Low cost..... we lost Grim.... and The Vision. With no Mafia or cult loss.

Is there a point, as we will not get a majority. I am suspicious of Nic as he seems to copy Mr Russ and Mr Dave convincing folks not to do anything

If you and me vote for Suss, then Dave and sdg probably will too.

If Suss ain't a baddie it'll be dead easy to bump off Nic tomorrow, assuming you can wait that long.

If you read what I said the previous day, I'm not voting so long as there's no night kill. There was. Therefore I will go for whatever vote increases my odds.

I don't currently have time to make too many conclusions on that though.

Thing is, you need Nic to vote for Russ to swing a majority otherwise you won't get enough peeps. But if you vote 'with' him tonight then there'll be no need for his 'vote' tomorrow!

Oh course, there's always the chance you might not want to kill him tomorrow when you see what Suss is today.

Yes, Mr Russ he only had one button and Nic copied.

One or both are fibbing.

It's going to be a bit of pot-luck from hereon in, I guess.

Nobody seemed to flinch when Malc said that his room had "turned purple" overnight. You know who else said that? Zaphod.

The description of my room simply says:

Quote:
You are in a small purple room.

There is no furniture.

... and then the junk about the 16 buttons, 1 button press a day etc.

No one else who has died had a description of being in a purple room except Curio (or was it Cras, I ain't reading etc) - the first town person to die.

Do the buttons you pressed correspond to people saying their rooms turned purple?

Nobody seemed to flinch when Malc said that his room had "turned purple" overnight. You know who else said that? Zaphod.

The description of my room simply says:

Quote:
You are in a small purple room.

There is no furniture.

No one else who has died had a description of being in a purple room except Curio (or was it Cras, I ain't reading etc) - the first town person to die.

Do the buttons you pressed correspond to people saying their rooms turned purple?
