I was so pleased to win a copy of AP0 on eBay for 99p yesterday. That is all.

I watched Master & Commander over the weekend, and I was pleasantly blown away by it. 8.957/10

99p? Excellent! You saved about £3 on the retail value! (note: I have no idea how much AP0 retailed for. £3.98?)

0p. It was free in issue 22 of Amiga Format. Which I also won for 99p!

AP0 came free with Amiga Format. I'm jealous as I got rid of it along with all my other Amiga Powers about ten years ago. :(

Excellent, isn't it? Paul Bettany is particularly good, I thought. I watched it a while ago, again on a whim, and thought it marvellous. For a bonus point, half way through my outside light suddenly came on. I dashed to the window, expecting to see a burglar trying to jemmy open my kitchen window, and instead saw a lovely big hedgehog eating slugs in the garden.

My mouth ulcer, companion for the last few weeks, has finally healed, so I'm binging on Easter Chocolate at long last.

Well done Best Stu.

For nervouspete: just noticed that on that photo you sent me via PM on Bistro, the way the shadow of your hand falls across your body makes it look like you've wet yourself :D

a) Excellent! Well done! Party on.
b) Unfuckinglucky. You're about to get 1,000,000,000 nonsensical comments. This one doesn't count, natch.

That's OK, I have an independent third party who polices my comments.

Y'know, until this thread, I didn't realise youtube had a uk 'version'.
Dr. A: How do they chose what makes the frontpage? Do they tell you when they do it? Do they send you any sweeties in return?

No idea, no (although an entry appears in the video's 'honours'), and no.

Good lord I can't believe I missed this thread. So heartily pleased you liked it sir, as it's in my top 5 films and is my favourite film of the last five to six years or so. The books are mightier still, though it takes some getting in. I got to them through the most excellent film.

Also, the bloke who plays the Jonah - Hollom - was the evil lead raptor-chav in that Spaced episode on the town. Who woulda thunk it? ("That's enough about Master & Commander," - ed.)

FURTHER EDIT:NO! It's never enough about Master & Commander, Mr Editor!

And I hadn't noticed Noseybonk's terrifying return to national prominence and his/it's further opportunities for mass psychological scarring as a result. Well done Ashens! I think.
