Squirt is now up for the chair, unfortunately Jock doesn't understand a word he is saying, he seems to be speaking Arabic...
Ah well, Jock hacksaws off his head anyway.

What's this, in his throat is a bit of paper he had been trying to swallow. With the schematics for a nuclear device and the location! A quick scurry over and one bomb dealt with, that was a bit of an anti-climax, wasn't it?

Squirt was a Terrorist.

<camera pulls back, in slides a scene with DavPaz, viewed down the sights of a sniper rifle, his head fills the screen... A shot is fired, at the exact same time that he is crushed by a van, the noise hides the muffled screams from inside.>

DavPaz was a Townie.



Jock has 3 days until the kidnappers kill Kima.

Here is what we know so far...


Roles

Jock Bower * 1
The hero. You cannot be targeted or killed.
Win condition - Kima is free
Secondary win condition - stop the bomb
Action - Interrogate
Alignment - Good

FBI Agent * ?
On the side of the good guys
Win condition - all bad guys dead
Action - Investigate - find out the alignment of a person
Alignment - Good

Kidnapper * ?
You have Kima. As long as one of you are alive you are going to kill her at the start of day 6. You can talk to the other kidnappers. Each kidnapper taken out extends the deadline by a day.
Win condition - kill kima
Action - kill
Alignment - Bad

Head of CTU
You know who else is in CTU and can talk to them
Action - Protect - you can choose a person to bring into the agency overnight, nothing will happen to them.
Win condition - all bad guys dead
Alignment - Good

CTU Agent * ?
You can talk to the head of CTU.
Action - Block - you can choose a person to run an internet protocol event on, this stops them in their tracks for a night.
Win condition - all bad guys dead
Alignment - Good

Townies * ?
Win condition - all bad guys dead
Alignment - Good

Terrorist * 2
You have a nuclear bomb, as long as one of you are alive you are going to detonate it at the start of day 8. You know there is another terrorist, but you do not know who they are.
Win condition - BOOM!
Alignment - Bad

I have no idea. Of the people remaining, Craster is Jock and Russ is the FBI Agent.
That leaves seven other players, of which one must be a kidnapper and one is presumably the SK, with another person being the CTU head (again, presumably, unless we have a double-agent somewhere who is playing two roles.)

Do we have another kidnapper too? Another CTU agent? Considering we've had two kills a night for three nights, if there is another CTU Agent they don't seem to have had much success with blocking, so I'm inclined to think GJ was the only one. I suppose there's also the possibility of another, silent, FBI Agent who's hiding behind Russ for the moment.
The person making me the most suspicious is Kovacs. One post right at the very start and then complete silence. At the very least I think he should be interrogated for lack of contribution to the game (although yes, I know "kill the silent one" never really seems to pay off, but we'll kick ourselves if he turns out to be the only remaining kidnapper.)

Those are my thoughts so far.

Well, there was only one kill lat night, so maybe Squirt the terrorist was alsoSquirt the SK? Or simply that there is no SK and the terrorists were always allowed to kill we just managed to get rid of them super quick? Because although Squirt went to the chair, if he'd had a kill action unless he was blocked by head of CTU, wouldn't that action still have gone ahead?

Basically, I'm not sure we have an SK!

No, the interrogation happens before the night actions, so Squirt wouldn't have got to do anything.

From how I read it, there were still two kill actions, just both targeted at DavPaz.

I find that incredibly hard to believe, Grimothy. (that Russ is a baddun, I mean)

Surely the odds of being *that* lucky are stacked well against him? OK, the odds of picking three bad guys on three consecutive nights are also pretty slim, but to do that without actually being investigative, and thus making complete guesses?

The only possible way I could see this even being remotely likely is if Russ, Squirt and Curio were kidnappers and they've sacrificed the two of them for the sake of Russ looking good. But this would all come crashing down the moment he gets one wrong, so it's not exactly a long term strategy.

Assuming Russ is good (evidence is overwhelmingly in favour of that), then unless there's another role that - when activated - misleads the investigator I can't see why there'd be any reason for Russ to lie?

Given its a trooper game anything is possible but I'm more suspect of russ now for pulling 3 bad guys out of 3 - I don't think we can go for anyone other than grim... As the interrogation tonight but I am wondering if russ's role is really all good .

An extra thought to throw into the mix - there has always been the max number of killing which (assuming the ctu head is protecting russ) means that neither bad side has targeted him ? (May just be that they are not wasting a kill on him when they know they will be blocked but I don't like the way the co-incidences are mounting up)

Well we know there is a CTU head, and I can't see why the CTU head wouldn't protect Russ. So why would the killers waste a hit? Surely they'll be trying to find the CTU head first?

Just some really rough numbers

Night 1 - we have the 'wrong' interrogation but everyone else was alive lets say there were 2 terrorists + 4 Kidnappers + 1 madman which is 7 baddies out of 16 remaining players he wont investigate himself or Jock so that leaves 7 out of 14 so a 50% chance of a baddie
Night 2 - we have a 'correct' killing so start the day with 14 but there is a dead terrorist - so 5 baddies left out of 14 minus Russ / Jock and Curiosity who he already knows is bad gives 5 out of 11 so a 45% or so chance of a right choice
Night 3 - we have a 'correct' killing so start the day with 11 and 4 baddies , take out Russ / Jock and Squirt means a 4 out of 8 chance - 50% again

So if the numbers there are correct that's not quite as far out of whack as I first thought - anyone see any obvious mistakes in the numbers ?

One of a number of things will be revealed tonight.

1) Russ has been lying all along
2) Grim... is a bad guy
3) Grim... is a special kind of bad guy that won't break under pressure, meaning the interrogation result will be false, leading us to lynch Russ, who will be the FBI head.
4) Grim... is a good guy, but something out there made him be investigated as a bad guy.

How on earth we work out which of those has happened if it isn't 2, I have no idea.

Just interrogate Grim... and then give him kudos for providing a defence that actually got people wondering, which is a damn hard task to achieve.
