I downloaded a lot of podcasts to my Itunes on my PC at home.

I wish to have them on my works laptop, so I can get the updates on this one.

Is it possible to transfer them from my phone across, or is there a different way,

Thanks

You can export your subscriptions from iTunes at home and then import them to work this way apparently:

My wife appears to have changed her iTunes username that syncs with her iPhone to match her new email address.

Unfortunately, iTunes won't sync with that and demands her old one.

All I/we want to do is delete the music from her phone, without deleting the photos. Any sync to her current iTunes thingy will wipe tr phone entirely, and it won't back it up first.

Solutions?

Mac or PC? If you're on a Mac, buy PhoneView and manually copy off the data you want to keep (photos, app data, etc.), then sync and copy everything back. If you're on a PC, the free iExplorer broadly does the same job, albeit with a UI that makes you want to punch your own eyes out.

This thread will do: is it safe to assume that if I bought an album from the iTunes store I'd need the actual iTunes client installed on my PC to download the audio files? It seems very unlikely to be otherwise but I thought I'd check before I go ahead and buy an actual bloody physical CD.

No, you can also download it from your iPhone or iPad. Or alternatively, get a Mac where the iTunes client isn't a complete mess.

But in all seriousness, yes. Once you've downloaded the files you could always uninstall iTunes, though. Once they're downloaded they appear as AACs in your iTunes library folder.

I don't really care about the iTunes client being shite on Windows because I would only be using it to download the files then getting rid of it as you say, but I don't think I'm going to bother setting up an Apple id and installing the software and all that jazz when I could buy it and have the CD shipped to me from Amazon with a couple of clicks. Thanks for confirming anyway!
