OK, chaps and chapesses.

As I'm sure you're aware, Burny Pee has LET THE SIDE DOWN with it's non-turning up shenanigans, so here's a quick poll for you. No actual forum poll because I'd rather avoid that hassle this week, just post what you want on this thread and/or PM me your choice.

1.Flatout
2.Texas Hold'Em Poker
3.Worms
4.Doom III

That's yer lot, folks. Feel free to just say "3,4,1,2" in that order, or just vote for one. I'll take care of the rest.

I'll turn up to anything except Doom3 (Original XBox games? Pah, I say(Plus I own it on the PC anyway)) but no preference as to order.

I'd happily make it Doom XBLAH if it's more wanted. Either Deathmatch or Co-op.

Doom III is just one that's sitting on my shelf.

I'll play Doom 3 if it's chosen. I'm not really in the mood for Flatout at the moment and I don't own the others. I'm not too keen on buying them especially seeing as we're struggling for any kind of turnout at the mo.

I'd like to put forward Top Spin 2 for a future poll, as Curio and myself have been playing it recently due to getting bitten by the Wimbledon bug, and it is excellent. Very cheap now that TS3 is out, too.

Also for future polls, as I've seen Bobby playing it recently: Halo 2.

Also, Outrun 2.

I'm going to call a halt on this voting when I get back from visiting a puppy breeder tomorrow, which will be mid afternoon. I'll post a list of people who are "definate" and an estimate of how many "drop in" players the room will take.

Myoptika's suggestions of Outrun 2 and Halo 2 have been added to the "List O Crap To Do". I might consider TopSpin 2 as well, depends if I can be arsed to go get a copy, really ;)

But I don't see any point in playing Halo2, when you've got halo3 available, which is a fair bit better.

There might be people with only an Xbox Phat? Or they only own Halo 2? Not likely, but there are reasons to maybe have 2 instead of 3.

I don't have Halo 3 anymore, and it's debatable whether it's better or not.

I'm going to vote for Worms, and I can actually make a game tomorrow night for a very very rare change!

I'll probably be busy tomorrow night, but worth mentioning that Bobbyaro is only playing Halo 2 as his 360 is broken (though he does say it's better than Halo 3, amusingly).

As far I know,

Definate:
Sheepeh
Jasmine
Dave

Slots left:

By the way, it appers video chat only works in rooms with 4 players or less, with 8 it sets it to "Default", whatever that is. I assume it just takes snaps like Burny Pee does. I'd rather have 6 players than video, mind.

I would imagine so.

I should ask, if anyone is around, would you guys prefer limit, or no limit? I think I'd prefer a Standard game y'see, so you can keep buying in and we can chill out rather than knocking people out and being out of the game for ages. But I don't want people just just all-in because there's nothing to lose. Limit?

Well, I'll make it a Standard game with a reasonable limit and we'll see how it goes. I can always change it if we need to.

JazzyG, it's 10PM, which lets me get home and scoff some dinner down. I might be able to squeek it a little earlier but 10PM is Obscure Night time, usually.

Overal +$182. Not bad considering how crap I was to begin with the the number of times Jasmine cheesed me on a hand I was pretty sure I'd win.

Bloody Jasmine ;)

Sorry about seemingly quitting out. I didnt press the buy in fast enough but to be honest, I had enough way before then anyway.

Well played Mr Dave. :metul:

I just didn't get a good hand all night, so I kept going all-in with my $100. :p

Good fun, though chaps! We need more banter though. We were missing the jolly Brum of Dimrill I feel.

It did get a bit quiet towards the end, but to be honest I didn't realise how long we were playing for! I'm tired and I blame Sheepeh! :P

It was rather nice and relaxed. I think it would be more suited to a nice Sunday evening than Monday nights. Perhaps we should do it every Sunday or something? Having said that, it seems someone else is organising a poker thing so I might just join in on that action.

Yeah, I believe Craig is setting up an actual Poker Night. I wouldn't want to tread on his toes or steal people away, and I'm already running one night a week. I'm happy to play in his night, should it be good.
