Hello! I'm moving away. I have a ridiculous number of Xbox 360 games. I need to get rid of them. I'd have to buy extra DVD shelving to store them when we move out, and I don't even bloody play on them. So I've taken a big pile of the games I don't want any more, and listed them below. Have a look! Make a purchase!

Postage is free. I have plenty of padded envelopes. Go mad! TELL YOUR FRIENDS!

I accept PayPal, and I'd be happy to use bank transfer with more "trusted" members... i.e., anyone who hasn't signed up in the last couple of weeks to con people.

Prices: All prices are individually marked. If you can find cheaper from somewhere, hit me with the proof. It has to be proper proof though. Not some mental on another forum selling the same item for next to nothing because his wife has kicked him out. Or an eBay auction that nobody noticed. I’m open to offers* for purchases of two or more items.

*NOTE: By "offers" I'm not giving you an open invitation to offer me a tenner for a pile of 17 games. I mean, seeing as you're buying in bulk, total up the price of the games you want using my prices, knock off a reasonable amount, then make me the offer. I might haggle, I might say "deal". Try your luck. But don't waste my time with silly offers please! I've priced everything using CEX, GAME and Amazon. If I had the time and the will, I could make my prices on eBay or even by exchanging the games at CEX. I'm not trying to rip anyone off - I'm trying my best to undercut everywhere else by at least a quid, plus you get your bulk discount!

I will probably post these on another forum where I often flog stuff at some point this week, but for the time being, these are only for sale here, so get them while they're hot!

NB: I used to work as a games journalist. I got games for free occasionally. I've marked the promo copies with "PROMO". In case anybody doesn't know what this means, you basically get the full game as normal, but the artwork on the box is deliberately faded and it says "PROMO COPY, NOT FOR RESALE" in a yellow band across the front. Also, they tend not to come with a manual and the DVD itself is usually minus artwork and instead has a basic black and white "text only" label. The content of the disk is exactly the same as a retail copy, though.

I'll offer a tenner for both LIPS games, Crackdown, Saints Row and Batman.

Fucking hell, there's a man who knows how to strike a bargain! Without wanting to start this thing off negatively, I'm pretty sure Arkham Asylum on its own is worth more than that! I mean, I'm looking for offers, but Christ!

I was thinking with regards to offers: You work out how much it'd cost for each game seperately (going by my pricing "guide"), then you knock a reasonable amount off each game seeing as you're buying in bulk. Or is that what you did? I can't find Arkham Asylum for less than a tenner, is all!

I'll offer £35 (excluding postage) for Batman, Beautiful Katamari, Crackdown 2, Frontlines: FoW, Quantum of Solace, Kameo, Lost Planet, Saints Row, Sonic Unleashed, Stuntman Ignition, The Club and Test Drive Unlimited.

Right, I can't decide if that's good or not. I'm gonna have to put this on hold and individually price everything up myself, just so I know what's right and what's wrong. I'll update the thread tomorrow! And sorry, I should've sorted it out before I posted.

Both offers strike me as ludicrously cheap tbh. I already have a few unstarted games so I'm not keen to add to the pile, but I am sorely tempted by a handful... I need to check them out for hideous multiplayer achievements and other such landmines first though, so I will be back tomrrow with some sort of bid.

I think you have 2 problems here , one is that you dont really have an idea of how much stuff is worth (you really should before you try to sell stuff) and you didnt say anything about the multiples part other than "i'm open to offers"

The promo stuff affects resale value for the people selling stuff on so ideally something marked as promo should be slightly less than one not , and I dont see anyone posting 'comparative prices' (although you asked for them to be emails).

I'm not interested in any of these but can i suggest an alternative pricing strategy which would make stuff easier for everyone - go to CEX.co.uk find the item on there and charge what CEX would 'buy' from you at for the "exchange" value (so slightly more than you'd get by walking in there yourself - and still a 'deal' for people) - if someone wants multiples then knock a %age off or agree a slide.

The other alternative is someone makes you an offer on a pile of stuff and you both go back and forward until you have something , but i think you need to strike a balance between offering someone a bargain , and just shifting the stuff out the way.

If what you were going to do was music magpie instead then go to their website - find what they will offer you for it and then charge that +50p or +£1 to make it worth your while ?

The seller will have ebay fees (10%) plus paypal fees (3% of the total) to come off that so they are probably walking away with around £7 for the sale plus all the hassles of dealing with ebay - so £7 may strike you as a good price (and a reasonable deal) for Batman

That does seem a reasonable pricing scheme, I'd have said MaliA's bundle was about £25-30 quids worth off the top of my head, so any scheme that supports my assessment must be right...

As I explained in reply to MaliA's offer, by 'open to offers' for multiple purchases, I mean I'm happy to knock off a few quid from the total price seeing as you're buying in bulk. I didn't mean 'offer me a random amount of money for a pile of games'! Regardless, I'm gonna price them up today when I get a chance then we can start this properly.

I'll use CEX, GAME's used prices and Amazon as a reference and try to come up with prices that beat all of them - that's what I usually do, it's just in this case there are so many I thought the other method might be easier. Nevermind! Bare with me, I'll have them priced up soon.

It's an RPG with all the RPG mechanical bits ripped out of it, really. Often to the point where 'press A to win' isn't an unfair description. Still, it's pretty, refreshingly British in setting and quite good fun. But no, hit points and XP aren't quite the order of the day. Character is expressed with rude dancing and facial scars, not X3 Charisma multipliers.

I'd say that's a fair summary. It's still great, though. Nowhere near as 'deep' as your typical JRPG, but some would argue that they're artificially deep anyway.

JRPGs aren't deep, just wide. In Fable 2 if you want to walk across a field you can pretty much just walk across the field without the game going 'now this is happening' and you having to kill another of the boring things you've killed twenty times already in the last half hour.

MK Vs DC is alright. It's not great. It's also "3D", unlike the new MK game which has 2D gameplay, so YMMV. By all accounts it's an "above average" fighter, but it has nowt on the latest Capcom games.

As for SEGA RALLY vs Ridge Racer 6. I like them both. They both have split screen. It depends on your cup of tea I suppose, but given the choice I'd probably go for Ridge Racer 6 because it's ace.

Football game wise, I'd snap FIFA 10 up before anyone else does. It's newer and better than the PES efforts.

WTB i would like to buy a game off you, do you have a game with the main character being a medium sized male who's job is to chase after Laura Croft and make her pay for all the damage and priceless artefacts she has snaffled over the years and also gives you a bonus if you can hold her for the local police to arrest also. It would also be nice if this game was a multi-player with a capture the flag mode and has no achievements at all. Ohh and could the cover be blue and green mainly with some yellow.
