It's the morning (no, really).

Everyone congregates in the Town Square to see if the inevitable has occurred.

And it has.

In the middle of the square lies a man, clutching a bottle of Stella. He has his hands bound behind his back and a bullet has gone through the back of his skull. This is a Mafia hit.

The victim is Grim..., his house shows old text books and a shocking amount of empty alcoholic beverage containers, and he was the Teacher Townie.

Everyone gasps and sighs.

Well, almost everyone, because nearby there is another body.

It is Flis.

She has an old fashioned ear trumpet rammed into the side of her head, and it has clearly passed into her brain and killed her.

Attached to her body is a note, which reads, "SPEAK UP!".

Her handbag contains makeup, perfume a little black book and a whole load of cash.

Flis was the Town Hooker.

Two townies dead. :(

Shame to see Grim... go. To be honest, I hadn't realised that Flis was in the game. Did she even post?

Oh dear.

With slight trepidation, as I saw where this got Nick yesterday, I was locked in my house and prevented from doing anything last night - had I had anything to do.

Given that I'd been arguing that we shouldn't kill Nick, I rather assume it wasn't a townie 'locksmith' that locked me in, so I think it's likely that there exists a Mafia roleblocker.

Right. Thats a new set of parameters, surely? Grim... seemed to be fairly harmless. Scary, but harmless.
Nickachu, well, Dick.
Flis as a target should worry us all.

Given my views yesterday, I'm very concerned about SA. Grim... was going to vote for him and is now an dead :( On that basis, [vote: Sinister Agent]

I dont really know what a carney is, but assume that its analogous to a cult leader recruiting folks? Therefore I dont think they would want to kill people, but it seems all is possible in this town.

Im off to get my Skoda valetted in neighbouring village. Will be back on call shortly.

Perhaps Craster.

Its possible we have a doctor, cop, dumb cop(?) any number of talented individuals.
I dont think it helps us to know them all though, as they will be Mafia targets.

Dear Lord, what have we done!

Nickachu i'm so sorry :(
Flis! I didn't approve of your flirting but you didn't have to die!
Grim... poor misguided Grim... I will miss your drunken attempts to touch me up, even though you disgusted me at the time...

LaceSensor, you don't even seem bothered! FoS

We have to save ourselves, we have to do something, and I have been making copious notes, hopefully this will help us going forward.

What do we know from yesterday, we can assume that some, if not all, of the mafia voted for nickachu (god rest his soul). They probably wouldn't vote for him first, they probably wouldn't be the vote that got him killed, so who voted for nickachu yesterday?

As far as I can remember, and looking at my notes, the voting for nickachu went:
sinister agent, then sinister swapped to gilly
then a long wait till I voted for him, then in succession
sinister agent
Goddess Jasmine
Mr Russell
Alarm
KovacsC

a break and then

Grim...
Malc

We can rule out Grim... as mafia
I don't think the mafia would be the last vote? So that rules out Malc
I was the first to vote and I know I am not mafia
Sinister voted second, he is still acting crazy, but I think we need to look further down the list for the mafia pile on and block vote to happen, so maybe not sinister.
Goddess Jasmine? Possibly, but still a bit early for the bandwagon?
That leaves Mr Russell, Alarm and KovacsC
Slap bang in the middle of that block vote is Alarm.

So. [vote:alarm]

No, I was quite clearly locked in my house rather than put under any kind of investigation (that I know of).

Im sticking with SA. Im not sure why everyone changed yesterday in fact. Regrettable we slung a townie, but in *other news clippings Ive read* mistakes of these kind arent uncommon when weeding out scum in a town

I like the analysis, but I am just a humble artist. I said I was willing to flip the vote if needed. However, I gave my reasons for voting for nick, and stick by them.

Two kills would also suggest that someone killed last night that was stopped for their action on the previous one (blocked / target protected / etc).

The fact that Flis as a lady of the night spent the night with someone previously (who has not come forward) makes me wonder if she spent it with someone dangerous , switched on the next night and was taken out ?

BTW Craster - why a mafia blocker and a town or carnie one ? oh and it was Trooper who was claiming a 'prankster' on the previous night not Nick (who claimed he was investigated by an incompetant cop)

I think we need someone to posit good reasons for voting for folk based on the last few days. We haven't much time, as we erm, have a curfew.

You're fine. Trooper's already done the "I was locked in" thing, and didn't add a ridiculous "it was the incompetent cop" line that Nick's role required. It wasn't this that got nick looking suspicious - plus as I explained originally, I voted for him initially because his behaviour on day one was sly as all hell.

And sorry, can I just ask the town why, exactly, it's okay to instantly vote for me when I was bloody right about nickachu being dodgy as fuck? He was lying to us, and would only continue to lie with every passing day. Now we know the 'incompetent cop' thing was bullshit, we're better off.

Honestly. You lot.

That's a fucking crap reason. Half the bloody town DID vote for me, never mind who "was going to". If anything, Grim was one of the most reticent voters, and far from being the person most vocal about trying to lynch me.

And you, son, haven't made any attempt whatsoever to explain why you're "concerned" about me. Making vague references to your views yesterday doesn't help when you didn't explain yourself at all then either.

The last lot didn't sell, so sadly not.

Someone did say they would buy some mugs, so I might make some of those.

Also, two things:

1) Was Flis modkilled/killed by some kind of special local psycho for not talking enough?

2) I want to hear Mr. Russell's extremely long and detailed take on the situation.

What about my analysis, I think it is quite good, better than anything else at the moment!

Hm. I did consider voting for Lace today until I read that from APOD.

I do wonder whether Russ might not be considered above suspicion precisely because of his habit of speaking only in rhyme. It would make a great cover, and make him prime carnival recruitment material.

However, I'd imagine it'll be a bloody nightmare getting a defence out of him, if we do try to question him.

Jasmine has been quite laid back, and Joans has been more so, but that doesn't necessarily mean guilt.

I am reasonably sure that Trooper, and I think Malc, are on the level. The other person I suspect was alright is dead now, so it's a bit moot.

I think I'm sticking with APOD for now. I don't like people failing to back their assertions up, especially when they try to hide it by making out that they've already explained themselves. This is similar to why I voted for Nickachu, and while I'd hoped we'd get the mafia or carny ruler, I still think we're better off without someone who would have just sown dissent and confusion everywhere. We're going to lose people one way or the other, and I'd rather take a few of these buggers with us.

Oh, I get it, video games make people angry. That is such utter bollocks. It's hard enough making a living in retail these days, let alone in a market when people can just beam your produce directly into their homes for half the price. The last thing I need is more people pushing that 'games are evil' propaganda in my face. Bah!

Based on the reasoning I mentioned, i'm pretty certain one of Mr Russ, Alarm and KovacsC is a Mafia type person.
I've gone with Alarm for no other reason than needing to pick one of them, I could be convinced to move my vote to Mr Russell, if that is an avenue the town wants to take?

I think it's premature to vote for Russ, but it's definitely worth considering (as everyone is), so I'd be interested to heard what others think. Including Russ, obv.

I stuck my neck out to try and stop people lynching Nick yesterday, and he was a townie. After that a townie roleblocker would have to be an eejit to block me. Carnie, possible. I just think it's less likely that they have one than the mafia do.

Yeah, I just meant that Nick stood up and said that he'd been targetted that night, and pretty much got lynched for his trouble.

Craster may be right about the mafia being the ones causing all these lockins. I don't think it's likely we had two people in town who like to keep people occupied all night.

This suggests to me that Craster is not mafia, else it'd be in his interests to just keep quiet about it.

Trooper, Craster - if you can agree on a suspect, I will lend greater weight to your words. Unless it's me, obviously, in which case I will swear at you.

Okay - Craster - I think your right - it doesn't really make sense for the town to have two independent people who can block , so the other person is probably on another side.

SA I apologise for the vote for you yesterday - I was taking Nick's word for things , it looks as if his choice for a 'big lie' was the incompetent cop (this doesn't mean your not bad but I don't have any particular reason to suspect you).

SA for Flis being 'removed' for not saying much , we have plenty of others who hardly said anything yesterday (GJ for one but i'm sure there are others)

Trooper volunteering that she was trapped on night one would also suggest she's not on the side of the blocker , however the fact that there was an extra kill could mean they were the SK who couldn't kill on the first night (unlikely I think - either the SK's kill was also EBG , or was a 'protected' person , or was stopped by Flis's night one action).

We're on a bit of a tight deadline for things today , and the only real info I feel I have is Lace's Fare/Fair mixup , so for the moment [vote : LaceSensor] but I would switch if we can get someone else close to a lynch.

Finally , although the Carnies failed to recruit someone new on the first night we should assume they got someone yesterday so there are likely two of them out there , and probably more after tonight so we need to clear our town of Mafia / Carnies / plus possibly a SK

I too don't think that Craster is a mafioso (he could be a carney, perhaps, but we don't know if they can kill). I'm unsure who to vote for. Perhaps one of the quiet folk?

Oh, dear Lord! The blood runs fast and deep this day!

I had no idea that Flis was leading a double life. Perhaps if she'd confessed her sins, she may have survived to help the town. And poor Nickachu, lynched by a bloodthirsty mob for no reason. Your actions reflect poorly upon the town, my flock.

As for suspicions, I would look kindly upon Craster this day as he stands to gain nothing from his information. Heed the warning of Nickachu and lynch not the helpers!

Oh dear, not good at all. :( I too was wondering if flis was killed by someone from outside if our town? Other than that it gives the impression of an old person, probably misdirection.

Don't know who to vote for though. :(

I think trooper and slightly green are on the same team. As I believe Slightly Green voted last for Nik last night, not me?

I think this makes trooper suspect too

[vote:trooper]

See:

Well i am still feeling that we are in the dark but [vote: nickachu], so we can at least get some information and not have another night of terror without us being slightly proactive

I am less convinced by SA this time round too, I think he has some mental issues, and before today I thought he was mostly harmless, but to say that we were right to get rid of nick when he was just a bit egotistical...

Not sure,

and yes my name is

Old Macdonald (bloody force of habit)

On my stroll, I looked at the infernal machine and noted the following
Quote:
Blind Scum Town Square - Day Three

VOTE UPDATE

applepieofdestiny: 1 (sinister agent)
alarm: 1 (Trooper)
trooper: 2 (Bobbyaro, Malc)
sinister agent: 2 (LaceSensor, ApplePieOfDestiny)

Not voted: 10 (slightly green, zaphod79, davpaz, joans, craster, goddess jasmine, alarm, gilly, mr russell, kovacsc)

With 16 players alive, 9 votes are required for a lynch, and 12 nolynch votes are required to not lynch anybody.

What a horrible horrible turn of events over night, this town is looking like a very unpleasant place at the moment :(

Aren't you forgetting that Flis also may have spent the first night with someone, who could also have been a evil blood thirsty killer, this person didn't come forward to say they had the pleasure.... This suggests to me that Trooper is more than likely on the level. So FOS Bobbyaro for missing that out.

I am going to have a good think on what Flis said to us all to see if she dropped any hints about who her customer was

It was I who put the final vote in for Nicachu yesterday as i was afraid that we would have another day with no action as a town, how wrong we all were, and i will be visiting the church later to pray for his sad egotistical soul.

So assuming that the Carney has recruited another of us last night and the maffia and someone else was out killing how many of us normal town folks are actually left?
