Wow, that was a bit more than I was expecting. Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.

WINNERS
Well, the main winners were the Mafia, namely LaceSensor, Gospvg and Sinister Agent. Congrats guys! Have a banana! There were 3 Dons throughout the game; Kalmar was the original, Curiosity as the Mysterious Stranger and LaceSensor after Curio belmed his neck into the noose

LOSERS
Jesus Christ, town. WTF? You managed to lynch a fellow townie 3 times and nearly strung up Joans. It was amazing to watch the Mafia tie you up in knots. I have to mention Runcle and Zaphod, who had the misfortune to run into each other on the first night. Bad luck! Also, Grim...'s roleclaim was a real  moment for me. However, the biggest belmer is probably... me (as I will explain in another post)

MVP
I have to mention all the Mafia for being amazingly confusing and quite cunning in their tactics. Honorable mentions to Gilly for charming WI theme to her role play and Russ for role playing his way into a lynch but the MVP has to be Bobbyarro for maintaining his role all the way through, even into the dead thread. Well done you!

I would like to nominate Flis for Best Townie.

Also to apologise for the massive frustration she surely felt, much of which was probably my fault. I'm sorry, it's really nothing personal - you were just far too on the ball with your guesses, and as I saw some inconsistencies I had to get in there and not let go. Well played!

I deserve something for repeatedly voting for govspg when I had worked out that he was a mafioso.

Thanks Dav, and to everyone who played.

Gos was probably our most useful member - how on earth he managed to stay alive despite being heavily accused almost every day is beyond me (well, apart from when he didn't, but sshhh).

Three no-lynch votes in a row from a town with no doctor or cop surely has to go in our Greatest Belms compilation. :D

I'm also surprised that when I confirm the action of the doctor could not protect himself - I did not get lynched for that.

Ok. So things I said... Gospvg guilty. Several times.
And GJ, Joans and Alarm were innocent.

And that was with only one night of being able to actually look at the place. Tsk.

Day one: Russ names gos.

Day two: Russ names Gos and sinister.

Day three: Town almost lynches Joans.

Having never run a game before and never having been in the Mafia as a player, I didn't know how the roleblocks worked in relation to the Don.

Kalmar ordered a goon to kill Craster but was blocked by Grim... I allowed Craster to live when of course, he should have died. That tipped off Grim... as to the identity of the Don. Ooops!

I'll quote what I said before the game

Me wrote:
bit tempted, But I basically won't have a clue what's going on because time is very limited. And I'll be considerably quiet, so probably also dead.

So basically I'd just be voting for Russ once a day until I died (Or he did)

And that was before I was aware the releasse schedule of the software I'm working on. Basically I had one night and the odd moment while waiting for a build or test run.

As promised I did vote for Mr Russ. I was quite bemused to check in and find him dead.

fwiw, I don't object strongly to a Don being blocked preventing the kill. It's defensible, and actually made the game more interesting, as it forced Curio to stick his neck out once Grim accused him - had he not, Grim could have neutralised us completely.

in all honesty YES I made a typo that was genuine, it was a tactic to make me look innocent bhy hanging a mafia.

I was hoping that noone would follow with the vote hence the last minute thing at 10.55 or thereabouts.

In hindsight it was an awesome typo.

UL Flis you were our worst nightmare. We darent murder you incase it made it too obvious, but keeping you alive was hella dangerous!

No, but going on the suspicions of known good people, was probably a better strategy than not lynching anyone at all ;)

I wish I had more time for Mafia kill descriptions but its been a nightmare. For instance., today, I have genuinely been out of office 7 til 7 pm, with only that chance to post in the thread.

I usually like to pour some relish on night actions, so-to-speak.

In character interpretation: The Doctor's night action is visiting another player, thereby roleblocking or protecting them. If the Doctor stays at home they are alone and unprotected.

Short answer: No.
