I made that joke in the pub on Wednesday, to a guy who had never met me before and as so didn't know who Kalmar was.

I dedicate this B&B to John, who laughed anyway.

I'm well impressed with Chris and Dave. Some of the best live TV I've seen in ages came from watching most of the R1 feed yesterday.

Our telecom provider, not content with cutting off our broadband connection a week and a half early, have now cut off our landline phone lines a week early.

Fuck fuck.

On the subject of Comic Relief, I'd wondered why we hadn't had a dress-down day at work yet this year (We used to have them for most charity days and contributing a quid or so). Turns out that the MD doesn't approve of them as he thinks that the staff doss around more when dressing down. Bit rich considering he doesn't even work Fridays himself.

So little of my work gets done while I am away that they even take my headed paper out of the spare copier tray.

On thge plus side, with all the time off I've booked this month, I won't see idiot boss for at least two more weeks, by which point with any luck I'll have another job and can turn up in my pants and spend an afternoon signing emails as "Dr. Heinrich Stupidname PhD BSc HIV".

Demotivators were brilliant. It's a shame that absolutely everyone in the world went on to copy them, and missed the point entirely.

I fucking hate it when people use delegation as a way to harass people by proxy. Bloody ask yourself! It'll be quicker, and one reason people respond well to me is precisely because I don't badger them without good cause. Sigh.

The latest in a long line of idiotic things done by a dude who has the same name as me... He has booked passage on a ferry for Sunday and I have received the emailed confirmation code.
Surely he would realise by now that he isn't getting any of the emails when he keeps using my email to book stuff or sign up for stuff, or gives it out to his friends and family.

I've tried emailing back people who email him(me), but they must think it is slightly weird getting an email back from the person they have emailed, saying its not the person they have emailed, signed by the person they emailed... :D

The worst thing is, he seems to have a much more interesting life than I do!

The boy has just cried his heart out at that video of Ester on comic relief :'( She's the same age as his little brother and now he's gone to get all my cards so I can donate some money to her. That was the first video he watched, I think I'm going to be skint at the end of tonight.

More now than last year, I'll bet :p Are you beginning to understand, young padawan...?

The boy said after the video "I'm glad I wore a dress today to raise money for that little girl" And he also asked why the camera people didn't give her any food or take her and the baby home with them. Gah! Wait until she talks and asks questions like that DavPaz...Or worse...."Dad, can my boyfriend stay the night tonight?" lolol

Oh man, I really don't understand that attitude (although I assume you're mostly joking)

I want my daughter (fully educated) to be having as much sex as she wants, I just want her to be happy and safe and informed.
