After the townsfolk finish arguing amongst themselves, it's time for bed. I wonder what tomorrow will bring...

Oh No! (Or is that Woohoo! I'm confused too...)
Mr Russell has been put in jail! There is a huge fuss, his friends and family all gather to see him off, there are tears and everything.
Mr Russell steps into the jail, turns around and give one final wave, before facing a life of inappropriate touching by GazChap, only to see the dead body of Sinister Agent, who was the Jailor.
So he turns round and comes back out again.

Here come Slightly Green, GazChap and Joans behind him, with shameful looks on their faces and a promise to never mention last night ever again...

With the Jailor dead, the jail is wide open and no longer in play, all jailed participants are back in the game proper and return to their original communication groups.

I'm still pissed off how Lex knew to go for Alarm as Superman.

There is the possibility that there was another henchman in jail who is now out.

If we manage to find Lex then we won't know if we've still got all the bad guys.

I'm not too worried about another henchman (is that the correct singular of henchmen?), they can't kill so we can just investigate till we find them.

Ok, so people who could potentially be Lex are [in no particular order]:

Hopefully Mr Russell can narrow that down further.

Wouldn't we know by the game ending, also the henchman doesn't have a kill role and can only win by persuading us to kill each other, so if you know who lex is or even have a good idea i suggest we hang the blighter from the nearest tree and see what happens If we get Lex and the game doesn't end then we don't hang anyone until we get the ok from yourself, after investigating to find out. If we don't get Lex then i am guessing that you will be killed tonight, which would then promote Robin to Batman so we would have another nights investigation at least....tis looking very good for the town

Joans can't be Lex, he was in jail when Lex killed.

But, in the interest of narrowing down the list:

On the first night, under the wisdom of my erstwhile caped partner I investigated kalmar, and found that he is a true innocent.

On the second night, as you know, I investigated Curiosity, and it turned out that he was Brainiac... the rotter.

On the third night I was becoming more suspicious of the quiet ones, such as Kovacs and Goddess Jasmine.

I investigated kovacs and found him to be true and good.

Oh, so he was, sorry.

So the list is shortened to:

So that leaves me and Grim... as the only two people who could be Lex.

Day 4, and I weighed up the options presented to us. Gospvg, Jasmine and Jon.J all seemed suspicious, but gospvg roleclaimed as the policeman.

I weighed up the previous days, and we decided to lynch Jasmine, who was the Joker.

On the final night, there was therefore the following people left who could be Lex:

Grim...
Sinister Agent

As we know, Sinister Agent turned out to be the jailer.

But who did I choose to investigate on that night?
Who did I think was the most suspicious unknown quantity?

Grim... says "please tell us you investigated Jon.J"
Jon.J says vote Grim...

The fate of the town hangs in the balance.
