Ok, a bit of background to start with..
I've purchased an Xbox 360 off a friend. The console came with several arcade games already installed on it which he had paid for and downloaded. The thing is, he had the 3 rings of death and had his console replaced. Microsoft allowed him to re-download the games he'd already downloaded to his new console.
That was fine for him, but since I've signed up my own gamertag.. I haven't been able to play some of his games. They're still on the hard drive, but I can only access the demo versions of them even though the full versions have been paid for on this console. If I recover his gamertag, they're there again!
My idea is that if I copy them to a memory card, then back to the Xbox 360, I think I may be able to play the full game.
Now... Here's where I ask for the kindness of the forum. Would anyone be willing to send me an official Xbox 360 memory card to try this out? I don't really want to buy one as the cost would be about as much as the games (and there's no guarantee it would work). I'd only have it for a couple of days at the most and I'd send it straight back.
I'd obviously be willing to cover the postage both ways and I'll even throw in an album that my old band recorded for your kindness! It has a barcode and everything!!
