It's morning, and once again, somehow, nobody is dead.

Oh wait, what's that? I was wrong.

Oh no... ignore me, it's just a dead tauntaun that someone has been sleeping in.

You're all still alive. Whatever next?

I wonder if Palpatine's got cold midichlorians after hitting one of his own last night.

I was force-gripped (roleblocked) by Douglas Bader during the night. I have no night action though, for I am just a vanilla rebel which means he wasted a roleblock.

Huh...what's going on? A roleblock maybe?
Also, what was gospvg playing at! He was the dodgiest looking innocent ever and that was a waste of a lynch that could have been avoided.
Surely we must have tons of info now...?

By 'Douglas Bader' can we assume 'Big Diddy Vader'?

Yes, I'm just trying to fit in as many comical names for Sith Lords as possible before I get killed.

Do you have any suspicions on who Vader is Gilly?

Erm, potentially 3? But Darth didn't kill (the big pussy)

Are we getting lucky with the roleblocks here, or what?

WOAH! Wait, a chuffing minute. Nothing in the rules about someone knowing they've been blocked by Vader.

I don't have a clue who anyone is :( lack of kills sans no roles are being revealed so it's virtually impossible to work out anything!

There's nothing to explain. I assume this is meta-data, so italics: I received a PM from Curiosity telling me I was blocked by Vader.

Also, Vader can't kill until he's the only Sith left, if I've read the rules correctly.

Don't believe so. I think the killers are sitting back and waiting for their detectives to come up with something they can safely act on.

Also, Palpatine and Skywalker are the only kill roles, no? For now, at least.

Oh, and before someone asks why I've been so forthcoming with the information, I had a good read through of the rules after being informed of it and decided that there was no faction other than the Rebels/Jedi that would benefit from the information, and no-one that would want to kill me for revealing it.

The Sith would possibly benefit in the sense that they'll know they wasted a roleblock, but the fact they hit me shows (IMO) that they don't know who any of the power roles are and are just hitting at random, so this info is beneficial to the Rebels/Jedi.

The bounty hunters/Jabba couldn't give a shit about me if I'm a vanilla rebel so there's no worry of them trying to capture/kill me.

That kinda makes sense.

This does not help much. Perhaps we should look at who was voted yesterday and why...

Quite easily? We only know about the ones who are (not) being killed, the slavers could still be merrily slaving.

Palpatine may not have wanted to risk a stormtrooper again, although I don't see why not, if he some how flukes a teamkill again he still has one left plus Maul. Currently, Maul is protecting Vader as Palps has his trooper body guards.

Given there has been no sign of night actions from either, side everyone is either laying low or getting role blocked...if it is the latter, the Jedi may know who Vader is and the bad guys may know who Yoda is. I'm saying this because if a hit on the same player is blocked more than once, then they are protected, obviously the bad guys already know this so I don't think there's an issue with me drawing everyones attention to it....plus, they don't care who they target really, do they? The Jedi may not have employed that tactic though, for fear of hitting a good guy but perhaps it's a gamble worth taking.

Be nice if Yoda could come a drop some subtle hints so we could lynch someone!

DavPaz, why are you consistently misunderstanding the rules? Bluff....? You don't know how many killing roles there are, you pointed the FOS at Kalmar for not getting how a Stormtrooper died over night and then it transpired that you didn't get it either....

I suggest you read the rules again, understand them and then start trying to work out who has done what, why and acted suspiciously. To me, you're throwing comments around left right and centre and it's confusing other people. I think it's possible you could be acting dumb and hiding behind you accusations because you have a big, bad power role.....

Gotta side with GazChap, nothing really suspicious with volunteering information like that. Staying quiet is waaaay more effective than roleclaiming in such a convoluted way. Obviously the old double-bluff occasionally makes fun of us all, but I doubt that's the case here. Besides, when he got choked by Vader, he pissed his rebel pants, look, ha ha.

Aaanyway. Not going to stick my neck out too far on this one, but I thought the idea yesterday regarding the block of roleclaims to establish a rebel voting block had merits. Can we explore that? I say we because I'm still very shaky on the specific rules of the characters involved.

I still think the idea has merit, but I didn't realise that 3PO doesn't know who R2 is. As a result, I think it's a tactic that'll only work once the numbers are whittled down a bit.

Pretty much this.

Although, going back through day 1 and 2 shows that LaceSensor wasn't particularly quiet, and although he voted for Trooper both days for a bit of a silly reason (name sounding like Stormtrooper) it would be fair to say we didn't have much to go on either day.

Still bloody odd for him to just come in on day 3 and throw a vote in with no justification though.

Ok, it wasn't you who FOS'd Kalmar, I apologise profusely for that! I was scrolling as the page was loading and thought it was you....sorry.

HOWEVER!! You didn't understand how the stormtrooper died, which got you and Kalmar in to a little bit of a tit for tat exchange and now youthink Vader didn't kill because he's a pussy. There are 2 killing roles, dude.

It's true, I was confused by the stormtrooper death. I like to keep the threads ticking over though. This is game that relies entirely on dialogue, afterall.

Right, my current FOS list:

LaceSensor: Voting with little to no justification yesterday.
DavPaz: Questioning my information re. Vader roleblock*
Grim...: Same as DavPaz*

* my logic for these FOSes is simple - if they are Sith, they will know that I'm telling the truth. Therefore, by sowing the seed of doubt, it suggests to the other players that they don't know whether I'm telling the truth or not and makes them look less scummy.

And yes, I know that this looks retaliatory.

I agree with a general suspicion of LaceSensor from the last couple of days, and I rather noticed that GJs response to accusations leveled at Lace were rather spirited, more so than I would expect from someone unless they were in cahoots of some kind.

Not true, the number is always a maximum of 2, who can kill changes depending which characters die....Yoda has a killing role too if Luke dies.

Vader can only kill if he's the last of the empire i.e. Palps, the ST and Maul all die. What has Jabba got to do with it...?

Well, it is looking good for us so far! I think!

GazChap's info although, potentially useful, could be misinformation. If believed it does mean he is given a pretty clean bill of health; granted it would be a very brave move from a baddie at this stage, but it could pay off.

DavPaz is confusing issues, I am not sure it is deliberate though.

flis, I am suss of,
Quote:

Maybe I am being dumb, and she is surely correct, but the surety of this statement just seems a little bit too sure, doesn't it?

That's what I said yesterday. We want Jabba kept alive until Vader is gone.

I don't know if that will be true for much longer. If Bobba is bagging a slave every night, he'll soon have enough for Jabba to bugger off, taking five (I think - at work, sorry, trying not to be on here too much) of us with him. Granted, the odds are against this happening any time soon, but it's not that clear cut.

Besides, if Luke isn't looking for Jabba, he's basically useless unless he has some good info by now - if he starts blindly whacking people we could lose our worst actor. I mean, greatest asset.

I'm quite surprised that nobody died (also, what the hell, gos? I feel a bit bad now, picking on the new guy). It leaves us in no better position than we were in yesterday. Worse, even.

So really, I don't know. I was obviously wrong about it being Gos, but I still think that what I said yesterday holds water - it's likely that at least one of the mooks is someone who's been lying low.

Has anyone changed their behaviour significantly since Russell carked it?

Palpatine may not have wanted to risk a stormtrooper again, although I don't see why not, if he some how flukes a teamkill again he still has one left plus Maul. Currently, Maul is protecting Vader as Palps has his trooper body guards.

You seem very sure about the number of stormtroopers and that Maul is in the game and what he's doing.
