The top 10 posters amount to 22,000 posts. I'm #8, I'm a nerd. Grim... is #1, he's poppa nerd.

More like 4 or 6 quid, considering this is the first update for a while. I chose to buy Stuntman Ignition for that price. :S

For those keeping track we're not into the 4th month of the new era, so £8 spent.

5 things have been posted.

2 are Imagine reprints. I have it on reasonable authority he's doing that illegally. In any case, old content. Time spent on site : 0. It's worth pointing out that while the CVG one especially includes some extra pics, the other RG writers post that stuff for free on the RG forum.
1 is a retred of a feature already on the site. Old content really, and in any case he didn't write it for the site so time spent : 0.
1 is some photos. I can't comment too much because it's the only sub piece I don't have... but it's certainly not games now is it? Obviously if some kindly soul was to PM (after all, piracy helps business) I could make a better judgement.
1 is reprints from PC Zone. Time spent on site : 0.

So 4 months of "have more time to work" and £8 per sub has produced.... some photos and 0 new games related content.

Despite everything, I WOULD subscribe for content, I really, really would. But there hasn't been... well anything that qualifies so far. 2 genuinely new games articles a month, it's all I ask (and being unbanned from the forum if I subscribe, natch). That pays him an unknown amount over £100 per article if he's honest about sub numbers.

I'm not sure if the correct phrase is ironic hypocrasy or hypocritical irony. Perhaps I should just say 'laughable twat' and be done with it.

Anyway, 50,000 posts, awesome!

Yeah, let's not have a celebration of this forum's 50k milestone turn into a discussion about the old one.

We don't really have milestones any more, but I have seen whilst driving, a Measured Mile.

What please is a measured mile, and what would be its purpose on a stretch of road in the middle of Yorkshire?

They're markers delineating an exact mile, that has been measured by hand. They are often set up on public roads by motoring clubs so drivers can check that their mileometers are correctly calibrated.

The £2 a month is because you like Stu and his work. He's now made it a condition to post on the forum as well as getting the bonus stuff. ie stuff that you get for randomly giving stu £2. You get it as a bonus for doing that.

BTW he now also has a blog you only get that if you are a sub.
