Well, I'm at work, not in tomorrow, final day friday. Have nothing to do here, really and it's 73 minutes until the pubs open.

How's it working out for you?

Knackered.

Probably get really busy as the day progresses too.

Pub sounds nice.

Well I've finally had the text back for the revamped version of the company website, as approved by Directors and re-jigged by an external PR agency. In amongst the drivel...

Working 'till six, pleased to note that the Kiki's Delivery Service Soundtrack I ordered for the library has come in. I love Miyazaki movie soundtracks, me. Then it's Write Club, the bi-weekly creative writing thingy I have with a few mates.

And a week today I move house! *Spook!*

I woke up with a sore throat, so I'm off work but had to stumble out of bed to see if the game had progressed at all.

...and it had! Oops.

I am bored at work, and annoyed that Excel 2007 decided that it didn't want to save any of the macros I spetn all day yesterday writing.

Boo-urns!

They can have a piece of mine. :) I've a feeling that the website will miss the May 1st launch date. ;)

Today is 'fun with parcel delivery day'. Parcel force are already reporting that it's been delivered despite there being nobody at Kern Hall (can't get the servants these days). So it's either with the neighbours, whose names I don't know, or at the tiny post office which helpfully only opens when I'm at work. Yay.

Heh. Whenever content is left in the hands of several companies and PR guys, they don't pull their finger out until after the deadline.

I had this recently with a pretty large company, whom I won't name. They decided to hire in a separate designer, have a PR company write up the content, and have me build the site. The design was crap, the PR company didn't get any content to me until 2 weeks after the deadline, and I was left working my ass off to peace (ho ho) it all together. The site still hasn't gone live, because there's next to no content; the deadline was early May.

Someone is asking me about the resolution of pimpthatsnack vs "Those MTV cunts". Can I tell them, or do you want to do it?

I've got no time for PR companies at all. Unfortunately, the management attitude here is to outsource stuff like this as this will obviously make it better. When one of the companies advising on the new website has a site like this then I know we're doomed.

Well I was told earlier in the week that the site was to be launched next Saturday. Unfortunately by 'next', they meant 'this' so I've just spent my Saturday in the office... oh well.
