I remember the first time I saw one of his acts. Aged 11, and it changed me and my compatriots who were all watching, forever. In fact, in Carlinesque style, we renamed the driver of our bus (we were on a school trip, see) to 'Our Feisty Friend Fred, the Fat Fuck'.
