Where do you put the plug? What about the control buttons?

What does it look like in HD? Do you have to download any patches before you can use it properly?

He's a wee boy - 7 months old from the local Animal Welfare Trust - they called him Albert and we've stuck with that as it seems to fit.

He's settled right in but the cats are not happy at all, going to take a while for them to come round. He's not that fussed about them but they are skulking about outside while he lords it up on the sofa.

What is he? He looks a little small for a Labrador at seven months, but looks somewhat Lab-ish. Has he got a bit of Labrador (or Gaywood) in him? Very cute, though!

He's a cross. Looks like there's some Staffy and a lot of lab in there.

Just took him out for his first early morning walk and I feel ready for the day ahead already having been dragged along by the river by an over excited dawg.

We always get rescue animals - only problem is whenever I go I always want to take them all home. There was a one year old Staffy in there that was absolutely lovely but not good with cats or kids having had a difficult early life. She's been in there the longest (6 months) but was as friendly as hell with everyone that walked past her kennel. I was prepared to ebay the cats and child to bring her home but the wife wouldn't let me.

Having always previously gone down the pedigree breeder/premium puppy route, I vowed to rescue when I lost my beloved Rott to cancer at the age of just 2 years. (Besides, my experience of dog breeders is that they're all basically money-grabbing, self-interested cunts who like to pretend that they actually give a shit about their 'product', as opposed to winning their stupid little dog shows and making a stack of cash).

Having done so, we've never looked back. Charlie the Rottie was a 'drug dealer's dog' who was found being beaten in the street by his charges - using 4" timbers. Nearly blind through his injuries, with much of his fur missing through uncorrected flea allergy plus hideous neglect, he was a catatonic wreck when we took him home, notwithstanding the marvellous work the Rescue did with him. Two years on, he is now a proud, confident yet incredibly kindly and trusting dog; I am so immensely proud of him. In particular, he stopped our friends' 3 year old little girl from wandering into the stream that marks our land boundary just as our eyes were turned for a split second. I've watched her literally pull the toy bones from his immense jaws, reaching down his throat to do so, and he doesn't even so much as frown (if I were to try this, it'd be an 'instant scrap' :) ). Of course he gets purposely spoiled rotten and lives like a Lord now, I make sure of that, but he deserves every minute.
