Just ordered myself some new clothes. For the first time in ages. Last time I brought any Tshirts was Jan 08 and they were all black so they're beginning to look a bit shit now. Shame. I am glad I got two of the LTD ed Rob Zombie tour shirts though as one has remained new :)

So I just ordered...

Best Tshirt ever from the best movie ever.

Image

I liked the colour of this one. First time in ages I've ordered some Tshirts that are not black.

Image

Of course I had to get a black one. Been looking for one of these for bloody ages.

Image

And a new hoodie. Though admittedly I won't weart this until October but it was only a fiver.

Image

So has any one else ordered any new clothes for the coming rain fest? (summer).

I'm going to TK Maxx next week for some holiday t-shirts and maybe a shirt and new swimming shorts.

The OCC & Napoleon Dynamite shirts came from there. £4.99 a pop with free postage.

Been there...

I got some Fubu tartan blue/black shorts (the in thing it seems) for £5. Nice all cotton. Got a nice Rip Curl belt for my jeans too. Then yesterday Tesco were doing cargo shorts for bugger all money (£5.50 a pair IIRC) so I got a couple of them and I got some Slazenger shorts at that super cheap sports shop I forgot the name of.

With my new tees and a pair of Vans next week I should be G2G for this summer. All for less than £80.

I thought that shirt said "Greek Day" for a moment there. I assumed it was some sort protest shirt against the current Greek sovereign debt crisis.

You should sort out a webcam fashion show to let us see your stuff.

I bought a new suit yesterday, but haven't really bought any new clothes in a while. In fact the last thing i bought before that was another suit, which is still being bloody made! Had to send the last jacket back and get a new one as it just didnt fit properly, and no amount of alterations would have helped :(

Might take a trip to tk maxx later! Classy guy that I am! :D

Fuck dude don't knock it. In October I got a pair of FCUK jeans for £6 and a pair of Crosshatch for £4. I mean FFS £10 for a good £90 worth of denim is not to be sniffed at. I just walk in, go straight to the clearance rack and grab whatever fits. I'm so totally not fussy tbh. As long as it fits, looks OK and is warm smart and presentable it'll do me. Infact it's fair to say that I've done pretty much that for the last 12 years. Every single item of clothing and all of my shoes and boots have come from clearances in Ross, TK/TJ Maxx and Marshalls.*

* Ross, Marshalls and TJ Maxx are all yank shops basically the same as TK Maxx. I got a pair of croc/cowhide Timberlands for $35 US. Sadly I'm now limited to just TK but I have Amazon and so on at my disposal.

TK Maxx is also home to some of the most horrendous garments ever created by man. You can see why somethings never sold and where banished to the rails.

Indeed, there is some good stuff in there, but it is surrounded by tat, usually on a heap in the floor....

It is however, good for work shirts. Similar quality stuff to the usual £30-50 london shop jobbies, for £10-15.

It's more like a car boot sale than a shop. Or a nightmarish vision of the future disheveled, hopeless people scavenging for treasures amongst the dirt.

I did get a nice pair of Ray Bans there though.

I keep thinking I want a T-Shirt that says "Is Heaven missing an angel?.... 'Cos you got nice cans" because that line never fails to amuse me but then I remember;

a) 50% of the excellence of that line is the delivery.
b) Anyone having not seen Futurama will just think I'm a Nuts/Zoo reading prick.

Yeah true that. Some of it is just ridiculous.

Saying that though I have got three pairs of Shox from TJ Maxx U.S as well as a pair of Timberlands, my Phillies coach jacket and most of my Phillies shirts (and they rang in between $8 and $20 for officially licensed gear !).

if you want a coat tk max is very good. A large range of coats for between 20 & 50 £. Other than that, i find them poor. Also, l cant stand to wear t shirts with large text/logos. Particularly things like that DD one. Why would you want to walk around advertising a shop?

Because I so :luv: DD. Their coffee is the best in the world IMO. Plus it's hardly advertising given that DD no longer exist in the UK.
