No it's not one of those quiz things where you have to name several films from pictures or anything like that. Sorry.
It's jut a matter of trying to work out if a film scene I remember actually exists or if it's just something my mind has made up.
Here goes.
Very very few details for this. I vaguely recall watching the movie on a saturday morning on TV probably when I was fairly young but.
All I recall is a scene where they are floating down a jungle river in a boat and they can see over the other side, some ritualistically killed people, possibly stripped of flesh. Now I'm not describing very well here so I'll try again.
It would be like they had been displayed there by a local tribe as a warning to anyone who might venture into their jungle. They'd be hanging there on a spike or cross or something.
I also remember I was eating crumpets whilst seeing this if that helps at all.
Is it possible it's something like Gwangi? I know I watched things like that around that time.
Sounds like something a bit gory for putting on saturday morning TV which is why I'm not sure if I imagined it or not. You've probably got very little to go on here so good luck in trying to figure it.. even if you do I probably won't know if you're right.

It never happened on Saturday morning TV, that's for sure - was it a video someone stuck on? Anyway, if it isn't Predator or Apocalypse Now! could it be The Mission?

It's definitely not any of the above as I know I've not seen them. It's more family adventure movie and it's probably not as gory as I remember. It could also be like Mississippi with black people hanging in the woods or something but maybe not.
It could have been in school holidays. I definitely recall eating crumpets whilst watching it.
Also in my mind the colour rendition would date it maybe late 50s and 70s.
