Just been speaking to the better half and she is currently maxing out Puzzle Bobble and Zuma. She used ot have a BBC and then an Archimedes and mentioned being able to play stuff like Monsters, Killer Gorilla, Zool and "some game I like the music for. Has fossils in it."

She has an iPod Classic and an Android phone. What would be the best modern equivalents available? Or are we looking at the emulator route? She has a Mac, but the less techy a solution, the better.

(I know nothing about Monsters or Killer Gorilla, bar a couple of YouTube vids links that she sent me - with a quote of " I watched the You Tube vids of MONSTERS and KILLER GORILLA and found myself shouting at the screen – bloody awful cack handed technique on both! GRRRR", I think she is getting a bit competitive.

Edit: Oh, Killer Gorilla is a Donkey Kong knockoff.

I'd go the emulator route and something like Beebem

http://www.g7jjf.com/

for the mac version - however i have no idea if there are emulators for Android which may be a better solution for her.

Killer Gorilla was great, simply for the sound/tune of the third level as the springs* fell down; bom-bom-bom-booom, bom-bom-bom-booom!

*may not have been springs.

If I were a betting man, I'd bet cash money on that being Repton. Available on PC here: http://www.superiorinteractive.com/rept ... acular.htm and I believe also on the iPhone/iPod Touch.
