I woke up and the world was covered in snow, so I have been out since then. just got back and am about to open this stack of cards which I believe has something to do with yo lot... I opened a few in the week, then Craig started hiding them. here's the post croc with them all...

Ok, well this has been the best day EVER!

I woke up and the world was all snow.

Craig was still asleep so I showered and went for a walk in my welly boots around town. the French market it here and the cobbled streets look all Dickensian and beautiful.

Craig joined me for a walk and then I came home and had more cards than a 7 year old.

I got two Monkey finger puppets that are just about visible (thankyou Wullie) the world's most acebest hat, which I will take a proper picture of in a moment, and a smiley balloon. Sorry, my pictures are no good, i was too xciteale. I also got a great box of sweets and monkey socks, and loads of stuff from GJ, including a peg for Monkey's nose as I said I hadn't had a bath since I got back from my operation (I have now, and I HAD been showering!)

When I was walking around the market alone, before anyone else in the town was up and ruining the shnw with their footprints, and Craig was still sleeping, a song from one of the marker stalls started playing, and it was the music they played at my grandad's funeral, and I felt all teary, but happy.

I was about to start PMing folks who were so kind as to send cards, but the first four I tried I have got stuck on because I can't remember off of the top of my head what their Christmasified names are... I'll re-start myself to this task in a little while, but for the meantime, thankyou, everyone.

I have just been to Sainsburys, and I wore my Christmas Pudding hat. I did want to wear the two monkey finger puppets to the pub yesterday, and get the to order a Guinness, but when we got in there it was too full, so we had to come back home. Still, they were the warmest of fingers.

I'm going to go and finish packing this shopping away, then I had better start tidying the house.
