Was trying to rip a certain song off MySpazz tonight, and it seems my usual tools of reliance are unable to get their mitts on it.

I've tried DownloadHelper, File2HD and Dancing-Jesus so far. DH can't even detect any streams going on in the background, while the other two provide links that don't work properly.

The comments on the latest File2HD blog spot appear to confirm that MS have done fucked something up in an intentional sense.

Marz is rather peeved, to say the least. Hopefully someone else can crack it again.

If it's just audio you want, can't you use Goldwave or Audacity, set them to record internally and grab it that way? That's what I do.

Sure, but that's kinda the rough way of doing it, and you have to tediously edit the recordings afterwards to eliminate any bits of silence at both ends.

If its any consolation I was able to rip a song from there with the Freecorder toolbar.

The only time I've been to mySpace was for your brother's band. And it did indeed crash IE.
