I got new ones last year. Oddly my prescription hadn't changed and I wondered why I could see so much better.

Then I looked at the state my old ones were in (plastic lenses) and they had taken a mad battering. They had holographic flakes stuck on them and were scratched to shit.

Getting new ones is odd, kinda feels like you're going to headbutt the floor for a couple of days but after that it's awesome.
