A few Xmas's ago I set up a joke internet station for a few days to amuse some friends stuck at work. It's been requested of me again so I pulled the PC out the cupboard and fired it up.

If you are stuck at work don't want DJ prattle but want a 4 hour loop of non-stop 80's tunes, PM me for the URL (I don't want to publicly publish the URL as the server has quite limited bandwidth).

Only running until this time tomorrow.

When I was a kid I couldn't pronounce r's and w's correctly, like Jonathan Ross I said them the wrong way round. This led to kids in upper Junior school and first year high school nagging me to say, "Shabba Ranks". Fortunately by second year hard work on my part and sterling speech therapy cured me of the unfortunate affliction, if not of my then ginger hair.

I note Jonathan Ross still can't pronounce correctly though, despite being all aged. This means I am more excellent than him.

A Chinny mix tape should really involve an actual C-90 cassette with an inlay card printed on a ZX spectrum spark printer.

I have a rather expensive cassette deck purchased to dub off my dissertation (we had to submit on tape although I also did a CD). It has been rarely used since but looks shiny.

Anyway, the only way to distribute mix tapes these days is as an mp3. Which I could be persuaded to do if I get time. But how to share?

Better but more hassle: torrent

But the spotify thing sounds good too! Or muxtape, if it still exists.
