Earthworm Jim: brilliant cartoon, horribly overrated games.

Ooo, I ("imported" - Ed) the whole lot of the cartoons the other week. I forgot just how good it was.

"Jim! Your pants phone is ringing!"

"I'll just let it carry on. I'm kinda enjoying it..."

The game was decent... except it *really needed* some kind of save or password function. Some of the gimmicky levels were just damned hard - the mucus bungie jumping in particular took forever and could cost you a number of lives.

Yeah I always enjoyed the first one and a half levels of those games, but I never got any further.

Brilliantly, I think the games are amazing, but I can't stand the cartoon at all any more. Loved it as a kid, but now it's just painfully obvious that Doug TenNapel had bugger-all to do with it. I thought.
