Some ups and downs this year, but I think I’m emerging from the year in a better place than I started. I want to say a special thank you to Daz, who checked in with me when I hit a bit of a dark place earlier in the year.

OMG. One minute to Christmas. I hope everyone is safe and in a loving place with people that cherish them.

Merry Christmas everyone! It's been a mixed year but I'm enjoying a nice Christmas with loved ones. Also, interestingly, a dry one as I've given up booze for a while - indeed ever since my ridiculous excess at Beex Cottage. Feeling quite good for it too... though I do miss dem Spanish wines. Ooh yus.

Hope you all are having a lovely time with your loved ones. Also... oooh... look wot I got...

Also very much enjoyed Mog's Christmas, not seen it before, also also Chicken Run which somehow I'd gone through life without seeing. Am now trying to grab a few pages of Lonesome Dove wot I got before the neffers and niece arrive.

My least favourite time of the year, Christmas to New Year, but despite that, Christmas day went very smoothly and the family get together was more fun than usual.
