Confusion and anger still hangs over the town as the sun rises. Last night's near-lynching still a sore point for those with raised voices. But one voice is missing. A voice with a distinctive accent.

The crowd run to the house of their missing neighbour. The search doesn't take long. The glass walls of the conservatory are still sticky with blood from a frenzied attack. They push the door open to see a gruesome sight.

The victim lays in the middle of the room, head beaten to a pulp by something heavy, the face now an unrecognisable mess of bone, blood and brains. The townsfolk flip him over and see a heavy iron candlestick, roughly inserted into a shapely bottom.

Written in blood on the walls is the (bizzarely, accented) message "We-a don't-a like silly accents around-a here!"

Bobbyaro was a Townie (and joins Russ on the MVP list for staying in character all the way through)

[playerlist]
LaceSensor
Alarm
Flis
gospvg
Joans
Sinister Agent
Goddess Jasmine
Gilly
Mr Dave
[/playerlist]

With 9 players alive, 5 votes are required for a lynch, and 7 nolynch votes are required to not lynch anybody.

Gilly, Joans, Alarm, flis, Dave & Lace all voted for me.

One of you is a henchman.
I'm going to go read the last day again & then I will vote for one of you 6.

Great.

That kill was a bit nasty, no-one is going to feel up to it after that sight.

I might as well just stand in the middle of the town & you can all shoot me down now.

From the list that voted for me
Gilly, Dave & Joans I feel are good

Alarm, flis & Lace

[vote:Alarm]

You have been too quiet in this game & not really participated in anyway.
Yes I'm talkative, undeciding at times on who to vote for but I take part.

Why?

Partly based on intuition, and bolstered by what Joans said yesterday.

I could be persuaded to change my vote, though.

Again, you claim I've been "too quiet" when I've been anything but. I think you're clutching at straws, trying to avoid being lynched (perfectly understandable), you mafioso.

I do not have to claim look at your posts over the days.

Gentlemen, let's not do anything too hasty. We're missing a few people at the moment (possibly they're showering), I suggest we wait until this evening when we can have a proper town meeting before we do anything we might regret.

Ok Lunch now.
Don't rush lynch me while I eat.
At least let me finish my lunch.

It is a long day use it to get as much info out from the other players as possible, because once I am gone who will you vote for?

Also bear in mind the mafia will get another kill overnight, you have just lost 1 townie & will lose another in me.
Can you afford to have another townie killed overnight?

Yes we can, but only just. The no lynch yesterday didn't change anything (if there's 3 mafia), we can get it wrong today, but get it wrong again tomorrow and we've lost.

I'd rather we got it right today though, so I think everyone should be formally invited to offer their opinions before we do anything.

I am currently debating with myself if my continued existance means Mr pvg is a dirty mafia or not.

Who you choose to kill is always going to send a signal, wanted or otherwise

There's no need to rush. Although we really do not want a no-lynch, we're getting to a very dangerous point now where killing the wrong person could cost us the game.

The mafia are playing a quite bizarre game. I can't work out why they went for Bobby (fwiw, I was still thinking of voting for him until today. Oops) and not, say, Joans. I'm more interested in who they've left alive, and why. There were several people who'd have made good targets last night if they were innocent.

Hm. Lunchtime.

Im going to have a look and see whom Bobby might have pressured into killing him.
Agree to adjourn with the votes til we have at least heard from everyone.

Gilly seemed fairly distrustful of Bobby quite consistently for a few days. However, I couldn't really point a finger at her for this, as I kind of agreed, and also voted for him a couple of times.

Other than that, I am having trouble dismissing the fact that he said yesterday he was becoming increasingly suspicious of Flis.

I also note that again, we were one short of a vote yesterday, and yet there was no kill. And again, Flis joined the vote late, but was talking about how the mafia would not have joined late. I suspect the mafia had, in fact, all voted.

And this time it was someone who had suspected her, along with another person who was outright accusing her (me), which is a dangerous position for the mafia - if they go for me, they prove my innocence and so strengthen my accusations. But if they go for the less vocal support (Bobby), they take the pressure off Flis, but don't draw much attention to her.

Looking back at the near-lynch on Joans, the two names looking dodgy to me are Flis and, to a lesser extent, Alarm. Possibly Lace as well, but I dunno, he seems to be playing pretty straight.

I have to go to job no. 2 in a min (joans is such a slave driver :p) so I will look over thinks properly this evening but I do have a question: why did lace sensors vote not count just because there was a space in it, doesn't a mod usually edit it to count?

I thought Lace was using that as a handy tactic to avoid a lynch, personally.

Why? It is always pointed out that votes don't count if they are erroneous.

I'm surprised no-one else noticed it, he voted in the dying minutes with a wrongly spelt vote. If he's not mafia, I'll eat my hat.

I'm as suss of LS as anyone, but it does look like a genuine typo to me. It was an hour before days end and mods usually correct these things (if spotted) so seems a silly way to not vote for him to me.

But if he's mafia, then either Gos isn't so he should have spelled it right, or Gos is, and he should have just left it well alone, unless he intended to get him lynched so that he'd look innocent and managed to screw it up.

You've been saying for the last 24hrs that Gos is mafia, else you wouldn't have voted for him. Now his mafia mate steps up and "votes" for him to take the heat off himself. Especially as I'd accused him of being mafia based on his previous voting habits.

This is just my 'on the face of it' feeling.

Hands up anyone who's never spelled "gosvpg" incorrectly.

I think a mod decision is pretty important given that it would be a deciding vote.

You just said Lace was trying to avoid a lynch because he's mafia, and now you're hinting that the mods should ignore his vote as it was mis-spelled... which would avoid the lynch.

8)

Waiting for a mod call before I put my by now probably predictable vote in.

Ah, do they? Well, that changes it then. I always thought it could be used tactically, I've seen similar accusations made in previous games when votes have been made out wrong. I didn't think the mods came in and changed it.

The mods can do what they like, I was just pointing out that my understand was that an erroneous vote didn't count so it was therefore, tough. I'm not sure where they stand on changing it in this situation?
