Morning dawns.

There's a scream. You all rush over to find the dead body... no wait... it just seems like a tauntaun came into the cave last night and was sick in the fire.

Against all odds, somewhat inexplicably... everyone is still alive.

Well I assume Luke wouldn't dare kill at this point, and there's so many roleblockers I trip over several when I go for a piss.

Which means that maybe one of the roleblockers now has an idea who big daddy helmet is.

Right, are we going to hang someone today, or not?

I guess it all hinges on whether Palpatine has to kill someone or whether he can choose not to. If he has to, then he must have been roleblocked and we might get some useful info.

I can't think why he wouldn't, either - unless he's just trying to throw us off track. Seems a wasted opportunity though.

Until Palpatine gets offed, Vader and Maul can roleblock.

And those three can chat to each other.
Skywalker probably hasn't done anything, Obi-Wan probably role blocked someone.
Fett probably bagged a Jedi
Someone knows who Ackbar is, unless he was roleblocked

Expecting that, I was not.

Mustve been some creative roleblocking going on last night then.
Or perhaps the Sith targetted Han Solo and he Millennium Falcon'd off

Yeah, would be good to know if he can choose not to kill, or if he has to. Either way, I guess one of his Sith cronies may have blocked him (either very cunning or a little bit :belm: )

Well we know are in the same position as yesterday, so one assumes a no lynch is coming.
Given last nights sheer luck, I feel we have to take the opportunity to go for the Sith.

Therefore, [vote: Trooper] for the same reasons as yesterday.

There is so many role blocks and escapes I am getting confused. We can assume the emperor wasn't targeted by a killer, as there would be a dead ST, but Han could have been targeted. I need to read the rules again! :s

We have absolutely no info from yesterday now because we don't know the confirmed identity of anyone dead, so can't see who was angling for who etc.

And votes being thrown about this early could get a bandwagon from either good guys or bad guys (but admittedly less so from good guys).

However, doing nothing is going to get us all dead rather quickly.

Unless Palpatine was roleblocked, in which case this game could go on for a long, long time indeed.

Its as good a reason as any right now, with nothing else to go on.
At least if we apply some pressure it might lead to info.

Until we hear claims from Ackbar or 3PO, we are never going to have anything concrete to reason on. If we hit Jar Jar, we maintain some semblance of a status quo...

Heh.

No, I can't really see much point in not going to lynch people. If that's the case, then there's no point in my typing anything. I see it as helping your team to win rather than trying really hard to stay alive in the game, you see, and by going with a 'no-lynch' every time, it gets nowhere, fast, and becomes a bit dull, until the day ends and we all go to sleep and wake up in the morning in a worse position as the night actions have been and gone.

Yes, there is a risk of scoring a friendly hit, but it is one worth taking, because that's the point of the game. By doing this we got more of a chance. However slim it is.

And you're not alone in that reasoning - if you think you can identify a bad'un, go for it :)

Personally, I'm not going to vote for someone until I have more of an idea - with nothing to go on, I see voting as pretty pointless. Just my point of view.

So here are what actions I think everyone took:

Luke: freed slaves
Obi Wan: protected Luke or Yoda
Yoda: asked a question (presumably "is X good/bad")
Palpatine: chose a stormtrooper (must have been roleblocked)
Vader: roleblocked someone
Maul (if present): protected Vader (not Palpatine because he has a night escape)
Ackbar: protected and roleblocked same person (did they do this though as it would reveal their identity?)
R2D2: investigated someone and passed data to:
C3PO: now knows someone's win condition.
Han Solo: escaped (if targetted)
Boba Fett: tried to kidnap someone (knows if they are on 'the list' or not). Kidnapee knows they were abducted unless he targetted a Jedi powered person.
Lando (no action), but knows who Han Solo is.
Jabba: if he was delivered someone off the list now knows their identity. Also roleblocks that person from now on.
Jawa (if present): looked for droids.

So everyone got roleblocked last night pretty much, but C3PO is the dude with information, and Yoda also depending on what question was asked.

Heh, a whole page appeared since I typed that out. Reading which allows me to see that either palpatine or a stormtrooper could have been blocked (or both) to prevent there having been a kill.

If Boba got lucky then he got someone off the list, and Jabba now knows someone's identity, and Boba knows who someone off the list is.

R2 could have been roleblocked unless there is somethnig in the rules to suggest otherwise, in which case 3PO knows jack
Likewise, Yoda could have interrupted while meditating or something, and the Jedi none-the-wiser.
