perhaps they were the sheriff and detputy of pain and desolation. Yeah that's probably it so I'm glad they're dead.

I too just suggested that I wished to contact a person, I didnt actually write anything, think I'll include a message next time.

This amnesia is taking it's toll on me.. it's making me dumb I'm sure of it because I'm as clueless as I was yesterday. My contact/target came to nothing and are still alive.

What does Meta and Mauve mean? Why has no one else come forward with any words? Are they the only two words that were discovered?

oo, oo, actually, could we all agree to send the same contact message and see what happens? or something like that, I'm sure someone can come up with a better idea but I think we should all colaborate a bit to try and catch out the nasty TV man.

Jesus, that gas had a long lasting effect. Is it morning still?

I learnt nothing of my contact and my target is still in the room. I think that these are good things.

That isn't actually a bad idea! It would give us some more info at least, as to whether the contact is anything more than just a contact, but actually lets us send messages.
Plus all sending the same message would let us know that, but wouldn't give any extra info to the bad guys amongst us.

I guess it doesn't matter what the contact message is, so how about we all send "boobies" :D I'm sure I would remember that through any amnesia that may hit.

Remembering boobies is never an issue. I'm in for that as long as everyone sends the same and nobody is conscious of their evil killyness and sends something else to confuse us. But we wouldnt know that anyway so what the hell.

Likewise. However that may mean that:

1) I targetted someone to investigate them, but there was nothing to learn
2) I targetted someone to savagely murder them, but they were protected
3) I targetted someone to protect them
4) I targetted someone but I was prevented from doing 'something'
5) I targetted someone but had no ability to do anything to them.

Which is helpful, wouldn't you agree?

I agree with this, my target/contact are both fine and talking and I heard nothing myself.

We don't know how they died do we? Were they both killed by people in this room?

The people I selected are still in the room, I'd rather not say who they were yet, and I have no idea what mauve means, or indeed what we should do.

Precisely, also we need to think of something better to call mr. Tv man. That sounds a bit nice.

Hmm... Not sure about the words being contact messages. I'd think that most people, if sending a contact message, would choose a phrase rather than a word: 'hello, how are you?', that kind of thing, and if limited to one word then perhaps not something so obtuse?

Unless, of course, some people have been assigned roles and told that they are to use some kind of code words or confusing words. It may be key to try and work out a pattern to the words. I've been assuming, until now, that NOBODY knew their roles, especially during the first day: amnesiacs in a room. But maybe that wasn't the case and there's a mole operating?

I'm not convinced that I want to contact Grim...'s boobies.

Also, how do we know that Geoff the mole isn't a serial killer?

Its definitely worth considering that not everyone is playing fair, but given that we dont know enough to put any pieces together yet, it might be worth experimenting a bit for now.

The question we really need to ask, is it worth voting for someone yet? I just don't think we have enough info to do anything, but that means we will probably be down another 2 people tomorrow :(

Yes, this is my quandry at the moment. I will be asleep soon, and not likely to wake until everyone else is asleep.

I've thought this from the very start of it all. We're ALL amnesiacs? Bit of a coincidence, don't you think?

I suspect we have a group of dodgy geezers (one kill) and a random nutter killer.
I think a random stab is possibly better than nothing - a small chance of taking out a killer is better than no chance.

Malc - possibly an obscure psychic, but I think with the sheriff & deputy gone (just v. bad luck?) I don't know if we would have another friendly detective...
Could just be a noob who received a message?

Anyone being really coy about who they targeted last night?

Usually I'm the first to advocate not missing out on a lynch, but I think the odds are we're likely to hit a good guy. There's a very real chance that non of the group people found each other last night too.

All we know we have at the moment are two people who know they can kill OR possibly one or two mod kills.

I don't think another no lynch is a good idea. We've no idea who's doing the killing and how much they know, but they appeared to do a pretty good job (from their point of view, assuming they were both bad guys), so perhaps we shouldn't leave all the killing to them?

I'm not entirely sure about Malcs 'recollection'. If I'd come across something so vague I'd have kept quiet until I thought I could understand it for myself, maybe after a couple of days to see if more information came to help me out. As it is, he has put his head above the parapet and provided us nothing.

As it is however, I don't think that means he is bad, and therefore we should give him the benefit of the doubt for now, although if I was him I'd sleep nervously tonight in case I was targetted.

Otherwise, the guy who calls himself Grim... seemed to act a bit odd after we woke up, but not enough to make me pointy.

Doesn't seem to be the case, Grim... As the description of who these two people were, after discovering their bodies, did not mention that they had the power to kill, only to investigate.

I'm not very much into trusting Boobies at the moment.

I suspect that Grim.. bloke too, I think he's a shifty bugger, what with looking like the grim reaper and all...
And as for implicating the two people we KNOW not to have the power (or inclination, seeing as they are lawmen)... well dodge if you ask me.

Can we search the corpses & see if they jotted anything down in their police notebooks if they had a chance to investigate before they were done in?

I don't think we can go for a no lynch, even if it does mean that the night comes quicker and we get to all target and contact again.

The people who targetted MaliA and Zaphod last night either KNOW, or are DAMN SURE that they have a kill role.

If there's an investigator then they have info on whoever they targetted, and are understandably keeping quiet if it's anything concrete.

Eh? They know they told the TV man to target Zaphod/Mali, and now Zaphod/Mali are dead.

Say two person targeted Zaphod and he died. One would think they're a killer when they're not. Bit early to be 'DAMN SURE' I would suggest
