Perhaps people could sit on their hands again and see who dies again tonight - that would be fun.

All these people who dont want to take any risks .....

Oh and not sure about the Deputy but for my two choices last night i did find out someone was Mafia ....

Very unlikely that both of you would get hit, but them's the breaks.

Oh I know - however for everyone arguing against a lynch yesterday because "we might hit a good character" them's the breaks as well.

We could just as easily have voted on a good character or a bad one - but if you dont take that chance then your pretty much only going to fail (also given that we dont know roles - i would always argue a day one lynch gives you a 1 in whatever chance of stopping a cult before its even started which is a great move for every other side)

Oh, I completely agree on always lynching on Day One. There's more chance of hitting a good guy, but the benefits from losing a bad guy outweigh them.

Bizarre game to watch if nobody knew their roles. You keep thinking "hmm, that sounds suspicious".. but if the person you suspect doesn't know who they are, it just demonstrates how unreliable such hunches are..

I guess people are secretly hoping they'll turn out to be on the badguys team and thus nolynch *might* benefit them tomorrow. Like people on minimum wage voting tory :p

Thats the thing - even if you pointed at one of the people killed on day 1 , you dont *really* know.

Also depending on how much Curio wants to play with peoples heads it could be that the mafia boss points at someone and the mafia then kill whoever that person chose as their 2nd 'choice' - without knowing the roles its just stabbing in the dark (or as yesterday goes - not stabbing in the dark :-)

I'd say some people might - not giving anything away but i was told that one of the two people i chose last night was mafia - and that was done in a way that i could 'remember' it today - so i was fairly sure i had some type of investigative role (however i only found that out just before I died - all the conversation yesterday was done with no fore knowledge)

I targeted Craster and contacted zaphod. But I got no info back. Mind you, it was all pretty much academic as by the time I'd had my shower and made some calls, the day was over. :)

There is definitely some info out there, but there'd have been loads more had you pair survived. You'd have been able to contact each other and would have known the ID of one Mafia member.

I'm loving this game, but suspect I am the only one :DD

Anyone who is against a lynch is surely either a baddie, thinks they might be a baddie, or are a fool.

That said, there's an interesting little twist coming tonight.

I assume thats the Bonus ?

BTW if you have admin rights in here can you get rid of the other dead thread ? (and a note to the mods as they eventually arrive - it seems that the old dead thread is always 'forgotten' it might make sense to move it at the same time you clear up the rest of the previous game)

It also depends on how evil you want to be - what about a role which swaps two players roles/skills over.....
So they pick player 1 and player 2 , player 1 gets player 2's role and skills and vice versa ....

The first 5 "correct" guesses - so you would answer yes / no for everyone who asked (once each) , until you'd given out the 5th yes

So in theory *everyone* could have got a chance to use their question

The fact that no-one will vote for a lynch , oh wait thats not exactly new.

I'm also wondering if theres a cult who recruited each night then they will now have 4 people which is a big voting group

Totally random idea for a future game - one players special ability is they can see dead people and they get one random post from the dead thread each night :-)

My thoughts

Craster, grim, mimi are masons
Bobby is scum, possibly with kovacsc
Apod is on the level.

Personally, I just wanted to talk a lot and make thing interesting, which as always with our games, gets you killed :)
I don't mind too much, but it is a bit frustrating, it allows other people to talk but not give anything out, just by asking questions and challenging what you say. Which is fun, but doesn't really help the town.

Same old problem, which I had hoped would be lessened a bit as nobody knew their roles, but it didn't seem to happen. Ah well :D

It's a moderately confusing game...

Most amusing is the chance for me to do a ludicrous roleclaim in a Curio style, only for it to turn out to be the bloody truth :D

If I had survived today I was going to re-roleclaim as an escaped lunatic that had to try and get themselves killed by the 5th day ;)

You were undone by the lie about the guess. Unfortunately, if I hadn't had the information, you wouldn't have got fingered so heavily for it. Ironically too, if you hadn't been lynched, I guess you'd have targetted me and accordingly protected me overnight from the actual Mafia. However, there are no claimed good roles in the game anymore and the Mafia may be cautious in their next overnight kill as they'll worry about hitting one of their own.

The lie undid me, but your attack over it could have been very right. Keep in mind I had no idea who I was, all I knew was that I wasn't a vanilla townie. So I was basically just having fun. I knew it was possible I was the doc, but I thought it unlikely.

However, if I had survived the day, you would have been on your own :D I was going to target myself on the off-chance i was actually the doctor, and possibly keep myself in the game for another day, so I could throw out another spurious (or so I thought) role-claim!

Scrap that!

Grim... is a bad guy, the messages are true, but he made up the message about me to get me killed, knowing I wasn't in the bad guy camp and that would discredit the message giver and get him off the leash.

Why can theessages not just be man a targets man b and contacts man c. Man charged gets told man b is bad. Man a is somewhat clueless.

Seems vaguely plausible, and assuming any knowledge of the person sending the messages is perhaps dangerous.
