2 Player IPAD Apps

We are going on holiday in April to Spain

Last year we went with the NCT Group with 5 couples so there was always a baby sitter or guys\girls night out

This year it will be the 3 of us, so our son will be in by 8pm at the latest and we will be stuck in the room, neither of us have any interest in going out on our own or getting a baby sitter from the hotel. The room is an apartment of sorts, but our son will be in the living room in his cot so TV etc is not on the cards

Obviously we can talk to each other and read books

but we both have Ipads so was wondering if anyone has any recommendations on games 2 people can play over a network? In terms of game type my life likes solitaire\word games.

I think we used to have a ticket to ride app that works over multiple devices? Russell?

Both Ticket to Ride and Small World have a 'pass the ipad; mode

Scrabble / Words with friends / monopoly / chess with friends also have a pass the device mode

Ticket to Ride works on pass mode, and I believe either wireless or Bluetooth.

But you should get Spaceteam.

I think I've played Spaceteam. Wouldn't it be a bit too loud with a young un sleeping?
