A child I know who shall remain nameless has been tasked with writing about the various types of music that can be listened to on one of those modern mini iGramaphone things or whatever they are.

Being 11 he's just googled and taken the info from the first page by the look of it. Rather than cut and paste though he has at least typed it out himself and added his own extras. Bear in mind he just got a decent report in English from school I give you the following edited highlights on;

Unknown child wrote:
Classical - a type of music involving stringed instruments and deep meal or female voices. This type of music is a rather butifull pies off music that has been known to make grown men cry.

Tribal - a type of music that natives from tribes all over the world. There music is supoast to be tremendous. Children from the age of three must be involved or they are punished.

Jazz - in this genre the skilled performer intercepts a tune in his own way.

I am off to beat some tribal children for not performing music now.

The jazz one is hilariously astute, in a Ralph Wiggum sort of way.

I believe that actually being able to spell has no place in today's English syllabus. In fact I hear that extra marks are often awarded for the most phonetically accurate renditions of words.

Hoodathunk?

The rest he has just made up off the top of his head by the look of it - including the tribal punishment and deep female singers for classical music.

That just reminds me of Pendulum, Rock + Drum N Bass.

You don't say.

No it isn't, but full credit for mentioning Derrick May among other innovators.

There's certainly nothing about pies on there.
